Appearance
Nick isn't, nor has he ever been, what people call 'classicly handsome'. In some ways Nick is downright weird looking, but he's also had his fair share of compliments in the past. Upon first sight you'll probably notice the odd dress sense that not even he quite understands. Then your eyes will drift up to the top of his head and take in the gravity defying wonder that is his hair. It's been years since he tried to tame it with product or straighteners, it just took too much work. Besides, who doesn't like the mad scientist look in a teenage boy?
Nick's eyes are blue, and have the ability to look both tired and wide awake at the same time, which can be slightly confusing. On occasion Nick will be wearing his glasses, he does need them to see but a lot of the time he leaves them at home. The frames he has are your typical 'nerd glasses', and when he wears them he gets paranoid that people think he's just trying to be 'hipster'.
Personality
Nick is very much his own person, and he always has been, even through the tough times in his life. Overall he's a very positive and confident guy, he's intelligent and he knows it, leading him to be a little arrogant at times. When he has an opinion about something he'll share it and he'd love to argue with you about why he's right and your not. For some reason Nick gets great pleasure from arguing with people, he loves to push peoples buttons and get them angry, he thinks it's funny. Often times this gets him in more trouble than it's worth but he's a fast runner, so if anyone threatens him he's off like a light, and laughing all the way.
Nick is a very touchy feely person, he loves hugs, both giving and receiving them, and he is not afraid to hug guys despite the rumors that he's gay, which he isn't, by the way. Just because a guy is eccentric, even a little flamboyant , doesn't mean he's GAY people! Come on! Also if Nick gets really excited he might just kiss you, like full on kiss you on the mouth, he has no boundaries. If you freak out he'll just laugh and make it seem like you're the weird one. You're not. It's him, it's Nick, he's weird.

History
Nick was born in Ohio and raised by his English mother and his American step-dad. Nick's mum didn't really know who Nick's dad was, and Nick has never found out because to him his step-dad did the job of being his real dad just fine. Troy, Nick's step-dad already had two kids from a previous marriage, Simon and Jessica, who became Nick's older siblings. Jessica being seven years older, and Simon being four years older. The kids clicked pretty well and no one would have guessed they weren't full siblings.
Nothing remarkable ever really happened to Nick. The most dramatic thing in his life was him being bullied throughout School. It was nothing too serious. Kids picked on him because he was smart, and because he dressed weird ... And because he wore glasses. Kids are mean, and Nick was the subject of many playground taunts. Strangely enough it never really effected him, maybe it's because he knew that he was a lot more intelligent than these kids, therefore it didn't really matter what they thought.
When it came time for High School Nick followed in his siblings footsteps and went to Boarding School in New York.
