“I am better at complimenting then you think, most of it just turns sexual and I didn’t think that was what you wanted.” He was surprised when she was touching his hair but he didn’t say anything. “But now I don’t know anymore,” he was trying not to make sexual comments, because he didn’t think she was the kind of person that would go for it. Before he was with Carol he would have just done it anyway, but it felt weird to make those types of comments and hit on people now. Unless they started it, then he was going to keep his mouth shut. He was probably better off anyway, since he wouldn’t get slapped this way.
“Oh you like?” he asked. “It’s a secret.” He said and turned to her and winked at her. “I tell no one,” well except Carol, but he hadn’t really told her she just used his shower and then decided to steal it. “I can’t give the secret of my amazing hair to just anyone, what if people misuse the power?”

“Pshhh,” she rolled her eyes,” I think I can handle it.” She was viewing it more like a challenge than anything else. She was the kind of person to make sexual references as jokes anyway along with compliments. “Do I really look like the preacher’s daughter here? No need to filter your personality,” she cocked her head to the side wanting him to be true to his personalilty. He didn’t need to be someone he thought she wanted him to be. He was already a cool guy in her book; she could handle a little playful banter. She did however laugh at the idea of her being a Christian with morals. She had morals, very high morals, if you caught her drift. She twirled his locks of hair between her fingers still amazed by it.
She just wanted to run her hands through it and braid it. She often played with Anthony’s hair, one of her favorite things to do. But while Anthony had amazing hair, his was shorter and curlier. Wyatts had the perfect hair to braid. “Oh a secret, huh?” She couldn’t help but imagine how awesome hair like that would be during sex. Perhaps she could convince Anthony to grow his hair out a little, or maybe Wyatt could just let him borrow his hair for a night. If Kazzie hadn’t met Anthony, she’d probably be trying to test drive Wyatt’s hair right now. She wondered if people understood, this bonding experience was all in the name of hair. She leaned in a little closer, fingers still fiddling with his locks,” but I’m not just anybody. Surely a girl like me could cause no harm with the new found knowledge of achieving perfect hair.”

“Are you sure you can handle it?” he asked with an evil grin, “because they way you’re touching my hair is oddly sexual,” he was kissing obviously. He really didn’t think having sex was what she came here for so he wasn’t going to go that route,” he thought she was a cool girl, and she didn’t want to come off as a jerk or something. Maybe they could be friends, after all he didn’t really have that many girlfriends because Carol wouldn’t let him talk to anyone with a vagina.
“I can’t tell you the secret, nope it might get into the wrong hands and we don’t want people walking around here with the charming powers of awesome hair. It’s a powerful thing,” he was teasing her, he was probably going to tell her eventually, but he thought it was a little weird how she was so in love with his hair, but it really just proved the point that he had jokingly made that the hair was the way to get girls.

Kazzie was really getting a kick out of Wyatt. He was turning out to be more amusing than she previously thought. How had she spent a whole semester in his class and never talked to him? Carol must’ve had him on a tight ass leash for her not to interact with him. “I think you're the one who can handle it,” she said raising a brow. She glanced as her hand that had been simply twirling with a few strands. Was that really sexual? Surely no girl was laying there twirling his hair during sex; if they were then they clearly were not using it to its full potential. “No, Wyatt,” she stated running her fingers through his hair slowly from front to back, her manicured nails brushing lightly over his scalp,” that’s oddly sexual.”
She kept eye contact with him for a steady while trying to sell her point before laughing and lightly ruffling his hair. “Well, if you’re not going to tell me the secret, which eventually you’ll have no choice, you can at least let me play with it,” she said before moving behind him to sit up on her knees. In all honesty, she just wanted to braid it. He had to be used to this request all the time. “So, Wyatt,” she tried sparking up a little conversation while separating his hair into sections,” tell me about yourself.” That was a pretty open ended conversation. It gave room for various topics.

“That is really sexual,” he said when she decided to prove her point. He strangely didn’t mind her messing with his hair. He laughed at her when she proved her point. She was right. It was sexual. “I guess I have no choice huh?” he said when she started playing with his hair. He didn’t mind, because it was nice to have someone to talk to, he didn’t really like being a lone, he never had. He liked being around people, it made it easy to not think about things that he didn’t want to think about. Being alone reminded him of bad things sometimes, and sometimes more recently it reminded him that he was alone. After all the girl that pretty much made up his world left him and never bothered to explain why.
“Well,” he started, on a happier note. “You really want to know about me?” he didn’t wait for her to answer that. “I like soccer… Uh… “ he didn’t even know what to say about himself. “I’m kind of a jerk, well I mean I was a total jerk in the past, which, you’re lucky I just got dumped or I might have tried to make a move on you,” he joked. “I don’t know what else to say, I’m more of a… you have to get to know me person then a I can tell you everything about me person, I don’t like reading, or school, I don’t like violence…” he wasn’t sure where he was going with that, but decided he would rather not talk about that. “Which is funny because Carol was always trying to beat up someone, and I locked her in the closet once so that she didn’t hurt… I think it was Esme…” he shrugged. Who knew with her

She laughed as he agreed with her, which was her point exactly. She wondered why more guys didn’t grow their hair out. It was so much fun to mess with and play with. Besides, a girl could appreciate something to run her fingers through during a steamy make out session. It wasn't a secret that she’d been extremely attracted to Anthony for with lovely curly locks. “You’re right,” she agreed,” You don’t really have a choice.” Okay, so he really did. If he felt uncomfortable with her playing with his hair he could always say something. But something about him told her that his hair was meant to be appreciated, and that’s exactly what she was doing. Maybe when she was done she’d throw in a free head massage. Playing with his hair was strangely calming to her; she guessed it was because it gave her something to do.
While ‘everything’ may have been a little strange of an answer, she didn’t have to worry about a response as he started a list of his interest. “Oh, I’ll have to come watch one of your games then,” she said running her hands through his hair,” I've always wanted to try and play it.” She paused at the mention of him being a jerk and snorted softly. He didn’t really seem like one at all. Here she was, more or less just an acquaintances, playing with his hair. He seemed like a nice enough guy to her. “I’m lucky?” she questioned leaning forward slightly to talk closer to his ear. “Maybe I have a soft spot for newly single guys,” she joked,” you’re lucky I’m not the one making moves.” It was all in good fun though as she laughed softly and resumed playing with his hair.
So, he was the kind of type of person who took time to open up? That wasn’t surprising. She normally didn’t even really talk to people, so this whole situation was unlike her. Perhaps it was because he was letting her play with his hair, some weird trust. What if she was the kind of girl to cut off a piece of his hair and sell it to his fan girls or something? “Well then, I guess we’re just going to have to become friends,” she stated in a ‘matter-of-fact’ way. She began braiding a strand of hair humming softly as he continued on with his ‘about me’. She laughed under her breath at the mention of locking Carol in the closet. “I try to avoid fights,” she said,” it usually never solves anything.”

“Oh you should,” he said. “Not many people do... I mean not that I pay attention to them; you know you’re more supportive then Carol was, I like you. Maybe we will become friends after all.” He knew that she probably wasn’t going to give him an option of being friends or not which was good because he needed friends. Which, considering the fact that he had been a jerk to most of them, and ignored Max when he asked if they could be friends again. Maybe he should have said that but it would feel weird without Kegan anyway. “Hmm.. maybe I can show you some time.”
“But tell me about you,” he said. Friends knew about each other. He felt like that was a good question to ask because he didn’t want to talk about himself anymore. He wasn’t good at talking about himself anyway.

Wyatt seemed like one of those naturally cool kids that became popular easily, but maybe she had been wrong. It struck her as weird that he didn’t have that many friends. Or perhaps he was more of the lone wolf kind of person. She could how that would make sense. She was slightly taken aback at the fact that in such a short amount of time she was already more supportive than his ex, strange. She frowned slightly at the thought. They must’ve been a sad relationship. “Well, don’t worry,” she reassured him,” I’ll be your number one fan!” Hadn’t she said the same thing about Kyle and Max’s new band or something? She just liked to support people, because she knew what it was like not to have anyone.
Her eyes lit up at the idea of him teaching her how to play soccer,” really?” No one had ever really showed her how to do anything? Well, one guy taught her everything about bud, but that wasn’t really the same thing. She would probably be awful with like two left feet, but it was the thought the counted. “Where to start,” she asked herself, so much to say. “Well, I’m an only child,” she furrowed her brow in thought,” my dad shipped me here when I got mixed up with the law after my mom died.” Was that too personal? She had mourned enough over the death of her mom, she was fine. “I love food,” so informative. She continued to braid his hair, strand over strand. “I love cats,” she laughed,” hopefully I don’t become some crazy cat lady or something.” It was like she suddenly forgot everything about herself,” and don’t tell anyone, but I’m a sucker for romantic movies.”

“Oh really?” he doubted her supportiveness (is that even a word?!?) but he didn’t say that because he didn’t want her to feel bad, he had heard Carol say she would be supportive too, but she really wasn’t. He didn’t really care, though because he didn’t have to support her either, or at least in his mind he thought that, even though he did support her and her stupid boring plays. “Oh yeah I’ll totally teach you it isn’t all that hard, ”maybe for him because he was good at it.
“I’m an only child too haha.” That was about as far into his family life he wanted to go today. Since he didn’t know her that well he didn’t want to talk about that, he didn’t really talk about it much to other people either. “I’m not really a cat person, but I mean I’ll come visit you if you’re an old cat lady, maybe try to convince you to not buy more cats, you know, because who needs cats when you have friends with great hair right, I mean I guess it won’t be that great then because I’ll be old, but hopefully not bald.” He shrugged.

Her fingers moved his hair delicately into a braid until it was finished. “Yes, really,” she said as she removed the braid to start over again,” just give me dates and times.” She always went to her ex’s volleyball games and such, and she enjoyed supporting him. So why not support Wyatt? Was Somerset even good at soccer? She couldn’t remember hearing anything about it. She rolled her eyes at the mention of it being easy. “Easy for you to say,” she joked,” I bet you can play with your eyes closed.” The only thing she could do with her eyes close was have sex and roll bud. Only one of those were really a good skill set to have. So she wasn’t talented, but that didn’t really bother her.
She nodded as he said something about being an only child, but nothing else. Perhaps his family was a sore topic or he wasn’t comfortable. Either way, she wasn’t going to push it. She couldn’t help but laugh at his old cat lady jokes. “Awe, you’ll come visit me when I’m no longer young and beautiful?” she asked (see what I did there?!) hands grabbing at strands of hair,” and one can never have too many cats.” Okay, that was a lie. There was clearly a limit for health reasons, and she really did hope she’d find a husband before she had to turn into a cat lady. “But you have a point. Cats can’t have great hair like this,” she mused,” and I’m sure you’ll have more hair than me when we’re older.” She doubted his hair would bald to the point of it being visible. Kazzie shifted in her position on her knees, her arms were starting to get tired. “Here,” she scooted back further on the bed and sat with her legs crossed; she patted her lap and motioned for him to lean back.
