( www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=89789492 ) Lol was excited for the sleep over. She didn't know a lot of people around the school, but at least she had some friends, and they invited her to do things. So she went to her friends dorm, with a six pack of vanilla coke, because who didn't like vanilla coke and some of those oddly delicious pumpkin muffins that her mom sent her. It could have been just her love of muffins but she had an addiction to those things. She showed up at her friend's door in her Pajamas, and to be honest she wasn't sure what you were supposed to do at sleepovers since she hadn't been to many. Was it like people thought, when they talked about boys and did their makeup, because that didn't sound like fun. Or maybe it was different. She didn't know, but the idea of actually having friends and going to a sleepover was exciting for her. She knocked on the door and waited for Sadie to come open it.

[ www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=89832925 ] Chloe wasn’t sure what to say when she was first asked to sleepover. She was secretly having butterflies about the whole thing. She had never been to one before, never really staying in one place long enough to have actual friends. It was kind of scary, and she really had no idea what she was doing. Her first instinct was to politely decline the offer and pretend it never happened, but as she thought about it she knew it would be a great experience to actually have friends. She wondered if sleepovers were like feminine offerings, where everyone had to bring something in order to participate. So she decided to bake cookies, something she was actually good at. She wasn’t sure what to wear, but she was really self-conscience, so she with something that showed almost no skin. She was comfortable in her chosen attire for the night. Besides, what’s the worst that could happen? Chloe packed her bag and essentials as well as sent a text to Augustus as to her plans for the night. Of course he would only be a text away if she needed anything, but she hoped that wouldn’t be the case. She really wanted to have fun, but she also wanted to be accepted. All she ever wanted was to actually fit in somewhere. She placed the fresh baked cookies in a container and headed off toward Sadie’s dorm. She had said there were going to be a few other girls and she was actually nervous. Standing awkwardly she knocked out the door,”Hello?”

Despite recently having turned fifteen (October), Lorelai had never been to a proper slumber party. It wasn't because some strange cult thing or even over protective parents. It was more because William and Kendra made their children little pawns in their divorce - Kendra refused to allow her children to interfere with their education by attending weekday sleepovers and William refused to share his visitation time with some silly school children even when he had them during the winter, summer and spring breaks. The closest that she'd ever been to a sleepover was actually staying the night with her sisters or cousins which she personally didn't think counted since it was all family. Peyton, Beatrice and Cooper had all since moved on and lost their 'slumber party virginities' so it was finally time for her to or at least she assumed that it was time to.
She'd asked each of her sisters for advice on what to bring with her and they'd suggested a couple of different things from movies to pizzas. She'd decided to go all out and bring almost everything suggested - beauty supplies for makeovers, a couple of chick flicks (Mean Girls, The Notebook, Rugrats in Paris) and pick up some food from Pizza Hut on her way there. She just hoped that two medium pepperoni pizzas, a bottle of coca cola and a fourteen piece of buffalo chicken wings would be enough... If not then she had a credit card from her father that she could always use to order more food if need be. She didn't want to look like a stereotypical rich white girl! She really didn't think that her outfit screamed 'I have money, let me show it off' despite the fact that she had a Louis Vuttion bag hanging off of each of her arms. She just assumed that everyone had the same luxuries that she did! Who didn't have a two thousand dollar purse by fourteen? Pssh.. Losers, that's who.
The first person that she saw was Chloe who was also waiting outside of the dorm room and she let out a sigh of relief. She was getting a little worried that her pizza stop would make her late. Bless Sadie for not having open the door yet! "Hey~!" Was that dumb? "I brought pizza!" Duh, she was clearly holding a pizza. Why did she always have to be such an idiot?

Sadie was bouncing off the walls with excitement, she had never really had a slumber party with this many girls before. I mean, of course she's had a sleepover with just one other person and yeah that was fun. But with three other girls! That was just going to be so much fun, painting nails, playing games, talking about boys, doing make overs, watching movies! It was sounded like the perfect night in Sadie's mind. Lorelai had told Sadie on the phone she was going to stop and get a couple things but that didn't stop Sadie from going out and getting stuff too. She actually went and bought a forty dollar make up kit, a bunch of chips and popcorn, along with soda's and more drinks that she put in her mini fridge.
She was in the bathroom blow drying her hair not really listening for the down to be knocked on, and in all honesty if Lorelai's loud mouth wasn't screaming about pizza she would have never went to turn off her hair dryer and walk to the door. In all honesty she felt bad not knowing how long she left the door shut while the girls were there. She ran from the bathroom to her bedroom opening the door her bedroom door brushing her hair out of her face and looking at the girls. "Hey! I'm so sorry, I didn't hear any knocks on the door I was blow drying my hair." She laughed pushing the door open and letting the girls inside. She helped Lorelai bring some of her stuff in.
She set the pizza boxes down on her dresser before pointing to the mini fridge for the girls to put their drinks in. Once they had done so she sat down on the edge of her bed. "Okay, so I have two twin beds and I have a bunch of blankets and pillows in my closet that I can put on the floor if we all don't want to try and cuddle up on the beds." She laughed before realizing her door was still open getting up and closing it before turning back to the girls. "Do you guys all know each other? I hope so, but if not Lorelai , Chloe, Lola. Lola, Chloe, Lorelai . Meet one another. " She laughed running her hands over her face. "I've never really had a slumber party before, so sorry if i'm being awkward."

that is a lot of food. Do people usually have that much food at sleepovers?
Lola wasn't really sure what a sleepover really was. Sure she had had one or two back home with one friend, because her parents didn't like having a lot of kids running around the house since neither one of them could really communicate with them. She had never been to one with this many people before. She knew the girls, of course, and was glad that she knew them and could skip the awkward introductions. She had never really been good at them, but she was pretty sure she could have eventually been friends with them, because they brought food. Who didn't like Pizza?
She set her bag down and pulled out a notebook that she had brought to write messages to her friends. Since she couldn't communicate with them though sign language, she knew that it would be best to just write things.
I've never really been to one either, (: she didn't really take the time to write it out neatly and it was written across the page, and the letters were kind of tilted downwards towards the end of her sentence, taking up most of the page. What a waste of paper. She didn't really know what you were supposed to do at a sleepover to tell the truth, so she was just waiting for someone to do something.

Chloe was starting to feel increasingly uncomfortable in the hallway. Maybe she should just leave? Yeah, that was starting to become a good possibility. Or maybe it was all just a joke and she wasn’t actually invited. She frowned at the thought of it simply being a prank, but it wasn’t impossible with so many cruel people at the school. She was almost going to turn away when she saw Lorelai walking down the hall with pizza. The smell hit her nose and she gulped hard. She was so hungry, but eating all the junk would just ruin her diet completely.
Chloe smiled as Lorelai greeted her,” hey! Oh yummy, I brought cookies.” She held the container up a little and gave it a light shake to prove there were actually contents inside. She didn’t know why she baked them; it wasn’t like she was going to eat them. She couldn’t afford to gain weight. Chloe noticed how nice she looked though, and she could only eye her less than amazing outfit. She really didn’t have anyone to impress, and she only wanted to be comfy. Finally the door was open and the sleepover was about to begin.
Walking in she noticed Lola was there and she smiled big at the girl. She had met Lola in one of her classes and they were both very quiet. Naturally they became friends, and Chloe was even hoping the girl would teach her how to sign eventually so they could communicate without paper. “I’m pretty excited,” she said softly, a little embarrassed. She had no idea what she was doing. “I’ve never been to a sleepover either,” she admitted with a shy laugh,” but I did bring cookies?” she wasn’t sure that was even going to help anything, but food was food.
