He was honestly a little sketched out about meeting this girl that he didn't even know. Really though, if she was a friend of Esme's she was a friend of his. Unless you were Jon, they would never. He shook his head as he finally found a nearby parking garage and pulled into a spot on the second floor. Dallas couldn't believe that we was doing this in the state of mind he was currently in after Kat's departure. He almost broke down when he talked to Esme earlier that day and, not to mention, almost tore her a new one at the same time. He would have apologized eventually, but still.
He and Kevin took the stairs verses the elevator and walked around to the front of the building and down the street where Chix on Dix was. He still couldn't believe he had talked himself into this but it was nice to have him there for backup. And hey, what guy in their right mind would pass up a strip club? Dallas stopped abruptly, seeing the entrance, and turned to Kevin. "I don't know if I should do this." He said, worry all over his face. Kevin squeezed his friend's arm and gave him a pat on the shoulder. "It'll be okay. I'm here for you, man and you know the signal. Just pull at your shirt collar if you wanna leave."
Dallas nodded as Kevin gently pushed him towards the club. "Everything.. will be.. okaay." Kevin said as they entered the building. Dallas let out a sigh and pulled his phone out to let Brooke know that they were there. He had exchanged just a single picture with her before they came so neither of them would go in it completely blind. "I'll go grab us up some drinks. Jack 'n Coke?" Kevin asked, receiving a nod.

"And do you promise not to pressure him into anything?" The fact that Esme was so protective of Dallas was both adorable and frustrating. It was clear that she was worried for her friend and Brooke never passed up the opportunity to help someone out of a bind especially when that bind was having a friend who clearly needed a night out on the town but the friend was obviously too pregnant and married to join. "I promise on cats that I will not pressure him into anything. I'm just going to get some booze into his system and then... yeah, that'll be it.. No sex." She wasn't sure why she was promising not to use her vagina to cheer him up but it seemed to settle some of Esme's worries. Why was she so hard on him? It was like she either loved and worried for him or kind of wanted him to just disappear. She knew that they had quite a bit of history but that was like a hundred years ago. "Look, I gotta go but I'll call you at the end of the night and give you the full story." Full story meaning what she remembered, she'd already had two shots and she wasn't planning on slowing down.
Why would she? Sleeping with this guy would be ten minutes of faking it and then Esme would give her unlimited fries for a week at Denny's. Who would pass those babies up? She'd seen about seven pictures of Dallas (because Esme insisted) thus far so she knew who she was supposed to be looking for. She spotted him next to a guy who she was really hoping wasn't his gay lover. How was she going to explain that to Esme? "Oh hi you know that straight guy I was supposed to cheer up? Yeah I was too late and he's gay now" Yeah that wouldn't go over badly at all! And then they'd skip right into a field of daises through the rainbow woods past the chocolate river. She was going to need to get this over with if she wanted those dang fries. She only had one job!
She slowly made her way over to the boys with a little sway to her hips. She didn't normally dress this modestly or walk with this much sass but she just wasn't feeling up to seducing... Maybe just having a drink with these guys would be nice. "Hey.. So... This isn't awkwaed at all." It was incredibly awkward so she turned her attention to his friend, "Hi! I'm Brooke um obviously.. Do you guys want something to drink? Maybe some onion rings?"

Dallas had never in his life been more uncomfortable at a club, especially a strip club. Even with the support of Kevin being there, he still just kind of wanted to leave. That was, until Brooke had come up beside him which startled him as he snapped his head in her direction. She was even prettier in person so maybe tonight wouldn't be all that bad. Either way, he was going to try and relax and actually enjoy getting out the house for the first time in almost a week.
"Yeah, kinda. But that's Esme for you." Dallas laughed just before Kevin returned with drinks. The twenty-one year old looked at this new unknown girl and smiled a cheeky grin, "Well, hey there! I'm Kevin, Dal's roommie." Kevin greeted cheerfully before watching one of the cocktail girls walk by in next to nothing. "Actually," he continued, looking at the drinks in his hand and then to Dallas. "I got these for you two. You sit here and chinchill, and I'm going to go over there and check out that nice bar stool." He nodded.
Before he left, Kevin handed them the two Jack and Coke's and nearly shoved Dallas closer to Brooke and told him to be nice, followed by a wink. Dallas laughed it off before turning to her and offering a little smile to show that he was actually relaxing. "How come I've never seen you around school before?" He asked as they found a cozy booth to sit in. He wasn't even paying attention to the girl on stage with her tits hanging out and nothing but a g-string on, not that he wasn't interesting in that because any other time he would be, but as of late he wasn't even close to being in the mood to do shit.
Stepping back down to reality, Dallas looked back at her. "I'm serious though, I've never seen you. It's a shame though because I mean, you're gorgeous."
