Eric nodded and held up a plastic black baby by the arm in response to his new partner. "Yea, I guess we did." Eric could honestly not suppress a smile at this point. How ridiculous was it that these two got paired up to have a little black baby. "There are so many unanswered questions to this child. Who was the mother," he eyed the plastic child, "maybe she died." It was at this moment that Eric realized that neither of them new jack about raising a child, and that this assignment was going to be hilarious. Like, how in the hell do you change a diaper? And, most importantly, can you smoke around a robotic infant?
"So," Eric began, putting the baby on the desk, "Do we like, trade off or am I supposed to spend time with you?" Whoa, rude. That was definitely not how he meant to sound, "Not that I would mind, I guess?" There was literally no good way to back-track his words, so he just let it go. Eric was sure this Aiden guy wasn't so bad, because hey, he had nice hair and usually that is promising.

Sadie took a taco from Esme and began eating it when Kyle came and sat down right beside her. She raised an eye brow at him but didn't say anything until he started wiggling her eye brows and said hello. She almost choked on her food from laughingas she swallowed what was in her mouth . She covered her mouth and finished what she had going down her throat before turning to him. "Hi, I'm Sadie." She said with a smile as she placed her taco down on the desk when the teacher called her name.
Sadie got up out of her chair and went up to grab her baby upon hearing the name of who her baby daddy was going to be. She heard it was Kyle and looked up at the boy who was sitting next to her and laughed quietly to herself. He was cute so it's not like she minded that he was her electronic baby daddy. "So I uh... I guess you're my electronic baby daddy?" She said sliding back into the chair she was sitting in and looking over at him. She looked down at the baby and set it on the desk infront of him.
"It's an asian boy... Can we name it Eggroll or Wonton? " She asked with a laugh although she was being completely serious. "Just a side not. I really don't appreciate us having electronic sex and you not wearing a condom so now i'm stuck with an asian baby with you. " She joked before looking at the teacher who was still calling names. "But... I guess since you're my electronic baby daddy you should know we're putting it in a stroller and bringing it around town so I can show everyone my new baby daddy." She raised an eye brow at him before grabbing her hot chocolate off the desk and taking a sip out of it.

“I think the dad died too,” he said. “I think the next question is does it have a penis or a vagina…” there were so many other ways he could phrase that question, but yet he chose that one, he was going to be a great fake parent. “and can we name it shaniqua?” this was going to be a hilarious project. He thought of all the weird looks he would get if he tried to take it out in public. Not that he didn’t get weird looks already but having a black baby well that was weird, but at least it was going to be a fun project. He would rather do this then listen to someone lecture them on how bad it was to have kids.
“We can trade off,” he shrugged. Maybe that wasn’t a good idea because if he was alone with it then it would probably end up dead the second it started crying. Well that wasn’t true. He would probably take it to Jem and let him burn it. Or just give it to someone. He really didn’t want to mess up his grade or this Eric kid’s grade though, so he figured that he was going to have to try not to kill it. Even though he didn’t know the first thing about taking care of a baby. Like how to change a diaper or what to do if it started crying, or what to feed it, what did you even feed a robotic baby? “This is going to be fun.”

Hannah booked it out of her dorm, green ans blue hair flying. Still sopping wet from her early morning shower, she was looking a hot mess. Her make up was done, ar least, but her hair was hanging from her head in curling tendrils like bits of wet seaweed. She groaned, remembering that Aiden was in this class. She looked like crap and was going to see her almost boyfriend but not really, somewhat love interest! Oh what did she care. He seemed to like her so that was good. Slipping into the classroom, she did a sort od crouched run towards the back, slinging her backpack to the ground and dropping into her seat. Crystal had just begun to hand out the assignments, so she hoped that there would be too much commotion to notice that Hannah was late.
Shit, the assignment. Not only was she running late this morning, she felt terrible and looked like a wet rat. Now she was going to have a baby to take care of, too? She groaned, sliding down into her seat with a sigh. She watched her classmates get paired up, waiting for her turn. However, as much as she crossed her fingers, she never got paired up. she had been hoping to be with Aiden but that was just because she wanted an excuse to spend some tim with him alone. also to search through his dorm - she never found her bra from that one night... She found herself staring at Aiden for a moment. She really wanted to get to know him more and she also wanted to be his friend. It was a complicated relationship actually and she just wanted to figure it out.
She was zoned out when the teacher called her name. Snapping to attention, she raises her hand. She took the assignment papers - and realized she didn't have a partner. Oh fucking great, she was a single mom, too. Hannah snatched the baby from the counter the kids were on. She got a glare from the teacher, probably because it was too rough of a way to handle a baby, but Hannah didn't care. Hoisting the thing to her hip, she marched to her desk and s!t down with or, scowling. It was an Asian baby, which sort of made her happy, but it didn't brighten her mood to have an ethnic child. The thing - it was a girl - started to cry and Hannah felt like joining it. Bad days to come she knew.
Picking it up, she headed for Aiden. "How do I make it stop?" She held it at arms length with a disgusted look.

Aliana wasn't the most ecstatic about getting paired up with Wyatt. It wasn't all too personal, just, he was the holder of her v-card, and she barely even knew his last name. She was nearly black-out drunk when it had happened and she hardly remembered any of it, but she'd known that they'd had sex, that was for sure. Aliana didn't hate Wyatt, she hated that she let her guard down and was so easy for him that night when she was normally so, uptight. But, that was years ago. She'd loosened up since she met Alex, didn't she? Not in a literal sense, though, ew. Nevertheless, she'd have to suck it up and deal with being his partner for however long this project would go on.
She raised an eyebrow at Wyatt when he approached her and began talking about the baby. 'It kind of looks like you' -- really? She tried to smile at his comment, then shifted her gaze to the doughnut in his hand, then back up at Wyatt, taking it from him, "Sure, thanks," she glanced to the side, sitting up now and looking at the Asian baby doll they'd been assigned, "well, at least we know for sure that I'm the mother."
Maybe he wasn't such a bad guy? He did give her a doughnut... even though that didn't exactly make up for him taking the experience of what she had originally wanted to be a magical first time and turning it into a drunken, sloppy one night stand. Aliana took a bite out of her doughnut, then wiped some of the icing off from the corner of her lip with her finger and she looked at Wyatt, "You remember the time we fucked, don't you?" she cocked her head to the side, "I was terrified for three weeks that I was going to end up with one of these." Aliana held up the doll from its arm, smiling smugly to herself at how unrealistic it looked from an actual baby, "What should we name it? Err, her?"

{ posting on one account b/c too lazy } “Bless you, Esme,” Keisha said as she took her tacos. “And bless you, too, Kazzie.” She wasn’t actually all that hungry; the pizza was more because getting a pizza seemed like a good idea at the time. Don’t ask. Just enjoy. Keisha groaned when Crystal handed her the baby. She’d forgotten babies were going around that day, and to make matters worse, she was partnered with Mark. She didn’t dislike Mark as a person, but a baby with him would be a catastrophe. Neither of them needed a baby in the near--or distant--future. She was trying to think of was to inconspicuously take out it’s batteries and make sure it shuts the fuck up. She held it at arms length and brought it over to Mark. “You been cheating on me, Mark?” she asked with a raised brow. “I mean, I’ll love little Ping Pong, Chopstick or Joe just the same, but I want to make sure he takes my name.” The baby was Asian, which Keisha found strange. Crystal couldn’t try a little harder to give a baby of a race that made more sense? But, hey, they could fuck with people with an Asian baby.
---
Amelia cast a worried glance at the taco Esme gave her. She’d been far nicer to her recently, so Amelia assumed the taco was, like, a peace offering. She smiled and cautiously nibbled at it. She perked up when Crystal arrived. She gave a confused but still happy smile when she greeted her. She was aware of Crystal’s touchiness, but it still surprised her when people were so bold about her affection. Amelia’s shoulders slumped when she found her partner was Jon. The class wasn’t all that big, but still. She couldn’t help but laugh when the baby was black, though. She tucked it under her arm and found Jon. “I think it’s a girl...?” She wasn’t quite sure of it’s gender since she didn’t want to look down there. It was wearing a pink jumper, but she wasn’t going to make her fake baby wear gender-appropriate colors if it didn’t want to. “I’ve never, like, touched a baby, so this is going to be interesting,” she laughed. “So, uh, what do we do with her?”

A sigh of relief escaped Alan when Colette said that the drink he had gotten her was her favorite. He then smiled brightly before taking a sip of his gingerbread latte. He didn't want to come off as desperate but he hadn't technically stalked Colette's instagram but more like browsed through it when Mark told him what it was. So perhaps Alan just had really good memory. The world may never know. He rose both eyebrows when Colette offered her goldfish crackers and a juice box. "Thanks!" he thanked her with a closed smile before taking the box of juice and the crackers. Everyone in this class seemed to have some sort of eating item with them, was this like a pot luck that he wasn't informed of? "Everyone seems to be eating something... I don't think Mark and I got the memo." Alan laughed before opening his bag of goldfish crackers and eating one.
When Crystal had finally arrived to class, Alan quit running his mouth and paid attention. He wanted to hear who would be partners with who. It was interesting to see these bunch of people mesh with one another. Their reactions were the best things about it. Some people had some horrible relationships and what if they got partnered up? When he heard that his brother had gotten partner up with his bff Keisha, he turned to look at him as they got up to pick up their baby.
Mark gasped as if baffled, he rose both eyebrows and then knit them together. "I would never cheat on you. I love you long time." he grinned before looking at the doll. It was an Asian baby indeed. He leaned forward on her desk, rested his elbow on top of it and sighed. "It has your eyes." in such a proud tone, it was almost endearing. Too bad he wasn't even half sincere. Yes, he loved Keisha, they were like BFFAETY TTYL LOL but he didn't think a baby would be quite intelligent for them to raise. Forget taking the batteries out, they'd probably throw Ping Pong, Chopstick or Joe out the window in any raging moment. "We're gonna be the best parents ever!" Mark chimed, hugging her tightly. Cause he knew that she didn't like hugs.
Alan looked concerned for the baby. He looked to Colette and whispered, "I remember when Ren was born and he started whining about not being the baby anymore... It was so hilarious." he chuckled before taking his hoodie down. He watched as all the other people got their babies before he and Colette were called as partners. "Oh hey, we're together." he said as he stood up to go and pick the child up. "It's white... What should we name it?" Alan asked her, carrying it as if it were actually a baby and he had to be careful with it.

When Sadie introduced herself, Kyle smirked. "I know," he said in response to her saying her name. She didn't seem to react, though, and instead stood to get her baby. Kyle snorted when Crystal said the two of them were to be paired. How perfect, really.
As she returned, Kyle watched her with a smile on his face. He wasn't really trying to be creepy, but he would've understood if she'd called him a creep. She didn't, though, and instead began cracking jokes about the baby's race. He nodded along when she said something about naming it Eggroll and smiled, laughing a bit. Then she said something about electronic sex. Folding his hands and tilting his head to the side, Kyle said in the most polite manner, "would you have preferred regular sex?" He smiled to let her know he was joking, but let's be honest... he wasn't really joking.
"Of course we can take it around," he added a moment later to lift any tension. "I expect you to hold it from time to time and let me throw it in the air saying 'uppsy daisy' and 'who's a good boy'."

Esme didn't think that there was anyone in class who she was downright against having as a partner until she heard that she was supposed to co-parenting with Hudson Phelps. It still wasn't that she didn't like him or wished that he hadn't came back to school because she was quite proud of him for taking the time to get over his depression. It was admirable that he was able to admit that he needed help and it was amazing that he'd come to the realization that he was gay during this time. Sure some people would think that it was her fault considering that she was the last girl that he'd dated before coming to that conclusion but she saw things differently. Maybe he'd always been gay so their break up was best for both of them even if it had clearly hurt him a lot. "I... I..." What was she going to do? Talk to Hudson like everything was cool and she hadn't once dreamed of having babies with him? Continue hiding and accept that she was going to fail this project and disappoint her father once again? Neither option seemed like a good idea so she went for the hidden third choice - cry to Jonathan about the injustice of the situation.
She saw that he and Amelia had been paired up with a black little baby girl but that was honestly the least of her problems right now. She considered still going over to cry but that just might make it seem like she didn't trust her husband so she decided to stick it out and handle this like the grown up that she wanted to be which meant wiping her tears and pretending that she hadn't started crying upon hearing the news. She reached for their little doll, a little white baby girl (she assumed because the pink dress) and walked right back over to Hudson's side. "Looks like we're parents.. What do you want to name her?" How could she act like she was perfectly fine with this when she was basically sobbing on the inside?
And she was definitely going to be sobbing on the outside to her husband which should be clear to everyone as she mouthed 'help me' over to him and Amelia before refocusing on Hudson. "I kind of like the name Ivy or maybe like Blue.. Something that would be fun for a real human but you wouldn't give to one because the whole teasing thing." She'd been teased for her name growing up so she knew that more unusual names really weren't such a good idea and her name was relatively normal in her opinion.
Colette could barely contain her excitement when she found out that she and Alan were paired up for this. He was so much better than anyone else! Not that she had any issue with the other people in this class, of course but he was just so darn cute! Who wouldn't want to take care of a fake (or real) baby with him? She was shocked to discover that their child actually kind of looked like it could be theirs if they were dolls but it was definitely an improvement since Jonathan and Amelia got a black baby and Mark and Keisha got an Asian baby. "Awe.. It's kind of cute actually in a really weird way. I wonder if he'd fit in my baby brother's old clothes." Her brother was already seven almost eight months old so she didn't see why it'd be wrong to take his newborn things that he no longer fit into.
"I've always loved the name Tyrone or like.. Brandon." She knew that most of the babies would be getting insanely silly names like Ping Pong and Egg roll but she wanted something more serious that a child could actually grow up with. "What names do you like? You are the daddy after all." She kind of found it adorable how he was holding the little doll like a legitimate fragile newborn. It showed that he was eventually going to be a good father... Hopefully not anytime soon since they were both fifteen and she didn't want to lose her chance of ever being with him. She didn't have a problem with people who have children young but she couldn't imagine dating someone with a kid.
"Like.. I kind of think that Tyrone Michael Daniels could be an adorable name and he'd have the most normal name in this room." She knew for a fact that Charles was going to want to name his babies 'Double' and 'Dee' or Thing One and Thing Two.

"Yea, I guess Shaniqua is fine," Eric was trying not to laugh at this point. And, I mean, Shaniqua wasn't the most incredibly manly name, but it didn't really matter. Eric really just wanted more information on this assignment. He felt kind of like he was just handed a baby and now he is supposed to raise it... Which is exactly what happened, and he didn't like it. "So, uh..." Eric palmed the baby's back, and raised it up so he could stare at it, "How does it turn on?" He turned the baby so that it faced Aiden and held it out to him, "Hold your son for the first time. I'm sure it'll be a beautiful moment we will both cherish." Eric's tone was incredibly sarcastic, but it really fit the scene. Two clueless boys with a fake baby was no serious matter. there was really no other way to hand this situation-- it called for 0 seriousness.
Honestly though, as much as Eric looked like he didn't want the baby, he was pretty stoked about it. I mean, it might be potentially cool having to tote this thing around like your own. He was sure strangers would ask questions and stuff when he went into town, and that all just sounded like a good time. Sure, there was the whole crying thing to consider, but how hard would it be to stop it? Eric was pretty sure all you had to do was rock it or something like that and it would stop.
