Baker fidgeted with his fingers, rubbing his thumbs so forcefully back and forth that he was lucky the skin wasn't peeling off of them. He liked people, its not that he was a hermit. He wanted to be social, hang out with his buddies, do all the 'regular' high school stuff. And its not that he was opposed to going to friendly gatherings like the one Travis had invited him to. It was just that he wasn't really good at talking. Give him a computer, and the wit that was packed away in the back of his brain flowed like the fucking Nile. But put him face to face with more than one person and he closed up like a clam. When the pillow smacked across his head, Baker flinched and closed his eyes. "I'm sorry," he said with a smile, looking up at Travis who had just finished cleaning his room. Baker had been here for maybe a half hour now, and was supposed to be helping straighten up. But ever since he'd gotten here, he'd just sat down and watched. "Are there girls coming?" he asked nervously. He didn't mind girls, they just made him a bit more uncomfortable than guys. He felt like they all targeted him. It was obvious that they could tell he was an awkward turtle.. so he figured they'd all try to pick on him. That was what made him shy.

Nolan's room was right next door to Travis's, so they were friends. It wasn't too long before he heard music coming from his direction during his hardcore makeout session with Damien. He was feeling a little spontaneous, so he decided, "what the heck?" and wanted to crash his little soiree. He took Damien's hand and grabbed his jacket with the other before heading out the door. Travis had left his propped open, so maybe it was an open party. Either way, he probably wouldn't care. He was the kind of person who enjoyed having other over. Well, it at least seemed that way to Nolan. "So I see Travis is trying to have a party without me?" He asked playfully and sat down on the couch. "What's a party without your favorite gays, Eden?" He winked at Damien so he would know that was meant to be taken lightly. D was actually bi, and even though this was his first relationship, Nolan was pretty sure he was gay. He'd never really been too into girls to begin with, so that was the label he was going by these days. idk i tried
