i45.tinypic.com/198hw9.jpg(Click the link to see the house and it's rooms) Jessica's house is one of the larger ones on the neighborhood block. It's a four bedroom, two bathroom home, American Bungalow style. Although the outside is very craftsman-style, the inside Jessica has sprinkled with a lot of modern flair. She has her purple bedroom, matching purple bathroom, a walk-in closet that is very modern-feminine chic style. She has her office/homework space which used to be one of the bedrooms but she converted into an office, a small room for her dog, a modern-style living room, a modern-style kitchen and dining room (in the same room). She also has a guest bedroom which can sleep four in awesome bunk beds, but can sleep many more (if she's having a crazy sleepover) because the floor's carpet is very comfortable as well, a guest bathroom, and finally the fourth bedroom which she converted into a photography studio. Then there is her backyard which is fenced and has lots of room for her dog to run and play as well as a small patio and dog house. Jessica's house is big, but not overly extravagant or too fancy, it's a house that isn't a million dollars. It's was affordable for anyone in the middle class category, Jessica just modernized the inside.

Jessica looked around her house, she had just finished vacuuming--and dusting--and was now in the process of shoving her vacuum back into her broom closet. After finally succeeding she turned around and looked at her freshly cleaned house. Sure, her house was usually a mess, but if company came over she would always clean. Especially when her friends came over because when they were over, they tended to make an even bigger mess than before by leaving things strewn all over the house--things such as clothing that they had tried on, to pillows they had had pillow fights with and made forts, to blankets for building blanket forts and cuddling--basically anything and everything. If Jessica didn't clean up the house beforehand, her house would look like a pig sty. She turned on her heated flooring system to start making the house feel warmer and she turned on the heater too. She almost always left the heated flooring on because it was so nice to get out of bed or anywhere and not have to feel cold floor. She ran upstairs to her purple bedroom and straightened up one last time in there. Then she went to her lovely, and large, closet to change. Once she was finished she looked in the mirror. Her outfit was all black, go figure, and she sported an expensive pair of diamond earrings. She examined the outfit, it was comfortable: black sweatpants from Pink (the extension of Victoria's Secret), a black top from Pink, a juicy couture black hoodie, and black uggs. Today she just felt like wearing black. It was sort of her comfy: "I'm chilling at home and I don't care what I look like even though I have company coming over" outfit, even though it was pretty expensive and some people at her school couldn't afford all of the ensemble. Usually she would wear jeans or something when people came over, but she was comfortable around Dorian and she knew she could wear whatever she wanted. She went through the house one last time, making sure her German Sheppard puppy was content and happy in the backyard. She quickly fed her two goldfish which resided in her kitchen before heading to her office space. She had just recently purchased a new PC and was currently downloading all of the Adobe products onto it (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, etc.). Although she hadn't really wanted to get a new PC, the PC was more for homework than it was for work, work. On her Mac she had the Adobe products as well as Poser, Corel Painter, and a few other artsy programs as well which was basically for work and skyping with her agents and fashion directors. Jessica adored her Mac, named Toby Mac, but she knew she would learn to love her new PC too--which she had decided to name Della because it was a Dell. And then there was her laptop, Arnold, which she had named when she first got it. Call her crazy because she liked to name her computers. Arnold was getting a little old and a little out of date which meant she would have to replace her laptop soon too. Jessica quietly busied herself on her Mac creating some random fashion outfit in Corel Painter while waiting for her friend to arrive at her house. It seemed strange, that for all his misogyny, that Dorian passed for an impossibly good woman. He was slim, petit and very pretty - if you were so inclined. He had a soft bone structure, and long blonde hair which he took meticulous care of. Only the most scrutinising of stares would pick out the imperfections. The tight red lines around his waist where he would force curves to appear, bruises on his ribs from tight corsets and the slight wince that would appear on his face when he slowly removed his heels, which were probably giving him more blisters than he cared to admit. People paid the price for beauty and Dorian was no exception to that rule.
He had become self-conscious over time. The constant stares, the pointing and laughing and - of course - the brutal attacks when certain people found out he was a boy a little too late. He would never leave the house without his make-up, his femininity. He needed to keep the persona alive before people started doubting him. And they would, he was sure of it. A boy in a dress seemed like a cute idea in theory, but in reality people didn't take him seriously. He didn't want to become a girl, he just wanted to look like one, to act like one. It was difficult to explain and even harder for people to understand.
But some people had understood, his friend Jessica had understood almost immediately and they had formed a firm friendship. It was weird, to think, that they connected so well. With him wanting to be a fashion designer and her a model. It was like fate had brought them together. But even though they were so close, Dorian hadn't yet found the confidence to let her see him without his make-up and his dresses. One day, perhaps. But not today.
Today he had woken early, just to spend time getting ready. He tried on at least three things before he settled on a small floral dress that had maybe been worn once before. Matching it with a cardigan and some boots he found he didn't need to force curves to look like a girl. He passed pretty well, maybe a little underdeveloped, but breasts weren't everything.
Applying a smooth layer of make-up; Dorian grabbed his sketchbook, a few pens and a bag and made his way out of the door, stopping to glance at his reflection one last time. The walk to Jess' was short, and Dorian had walked there at least a hundred times, he knew the way off by heart. It was nice to get out in the fresh air, even though it was winter it wasn't cold. It gave him new ideas, matching the nature with his clothes. But then everyone seemed to do that. Floral in spring. Who knew, right?
Arriving at Jessica's house he smiled to himself before stepping up and knocking on the door. This was going to be good for him. A day away from distractions. From boys! Well...maybe not so much boys. Stepping back he waited for the door to open, his hands fiddling absent-mindedly with the bottom of his cardigan.

ooc; Does Jessica know that Dorian is a guy? Just for quick clarification. I will assume so for my following post.
bic; Jessica was adding the last few colors to her dress design on Corel Painter when she heard the knock on her door. She smiled with excitement, she had been waiting to hang out with Dorian for a while just because they always had fun when they were together. She got up from her office chair and yelled, "Coming!". Jessica ran down the stairs and walked briskly to her door. She opened the door with a happy smile on her face and looked at her friend. Dorian looked cute today, he had on a cute one-shoulder floral dress with matching accessories. The outfit was so adorable that it made Jess feel like her outfit was totally a 'scrub' outfit--which it was, but in a very nice classier way. Jess almost wanted to change into something cuter, but didn't. "You look super cute today!" She said with a smile and she signaled Dorian to come in and left expecting Dorian to close the door behind him--he had come over enough times that Jessica didn't feel the need to politely close the door behind him. In fact, she didn't even know why Dorian didn't have a key to her house yet--Christmas present maybe?
Jessica walked to her kitchen to get a little snack for Dorian to eat if she wanted it, he knew to put his shoes next to the front door on the shoe rack when he took them off. She wasn't worried about Dorian not being able to find his way around the house. Jessica looked through her cupboards, she actually had a lot of food even though she didn't eat. Her agent or other important people were always coming over, and they always ate, and if it wasn't her agent it was friends who craved junk food and nasty high in fat content food. So, Jessica had a wide variety from fresh fruits to mozzarella sticks. She had just gotten a shipment of fresh strawberries dipped in different types of chocolate as a thank you from a photoshoot she had done recently; Jess thought it was ironic because she was a model and they had sent her something she wasn't actually allowed to eat. She pulled the package out of the fridge and opened it, it would make a good snack.
Jess battled with anorexia on a day to day basis, it wasn't so severe that she wasn't eating at all--it used to be--but she would eat like one thing a day and drink lots of water. The months varied, sometimes she could convince herself that eating was good and she would eat salads on a daily basis; other months Jess saw all of her weight flaws and would go day by day barely eating anything, if anything at all. It just depended, close as they were, Jess hadn't told Dorian about her eating problem. In order to hide it, she would always convince herself to eat something when he, or anyone else, was over.
It was funny how the two had become friends. They had just gotten along so well, when they met something had just clicked. He was into fashion and wanted to become a fashion designer, she was a successful model. Their personalities and interests just fit so well together. "I'm in the kitchen!" She called picking up a strawberry and looking at the milky chocolate texture which was layered over the red bumpy texture of the strawberry.
