Full name: Alan Kenneth Daniels
Age: Fifteen years old
Gender: Male
Sport/Club: Mathletes, tennis
Appearance
Alan isn't exactly the tallest but nor is he the shortest. He stands at 5'9". His build would be considered to be slim and somewhat athletic considering he does do tennis. That always keeps him running and moving. He does believe in a healthy life style and that includes food. Alan is careful of what he eats and prefers to eat by the rules of the food pyramid. His skin complexion is rather light compared to the color of his hair. His hair is jet black, a type of black color that carries a few blue undertones in the sunlight because of how dark it is. The color of his eyes is brown and they are rather large and that makes him look younger than what he is. He has very classic features; large eyes, round nose, light skin and thin lips. His style is usually nothing too spontaneous. Just a t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.
Personality
Alan keeps mostly to himself. He's a very private person. The only people he can trust completely are his family and some closest friends. He manages to speak very little about himself and listen to others who actually do speak o themselves. Despite that maybe Alan can't do the same in return. He's the kind of guy that keeps things bottled up inside and deals with problems when he's alone which leads to over thinking.
His high spirited and friendly attitude never ceases to die. Alan doesn't stray away from groups and does his best to fit in. He enjoys meeting different people, different cultures — just trying new things. In his life time, Alan wants to do everything he can like bungee jumping or trying those scorpions on a stick.
Background story
Fourteen years ago, Natalie and Anthony Daniels were flying back from their honeymoon in Cairo back to the United States. Unfortunately, the plane had technical difficulties and crashed leaving no survivors. Their son Alan was staying at Anthony's brother, Tyrone's house. Alan was only one at the time and had no sense of recognition of any sort. It wasn't until he was six when he began asking about what had been of his parents. Miranda and Tyrone were given custody of him and raised him like their own children. When they explained to their nephew what had happened, he was saddened but not traumatized. He was young after all and the only way he ever saw his parents was through photographs.
As time passed, Alan thought the memory of his parents was a wonderful one and although he'd never met them, he would absolutely loved to. They seemed like adventurous people. While growing up, the boy began to steal the spotlight from other children. He was spontaneous. You told him to sing and he would sing; dance, he'd dance his feet off and he never seemed to care who said what or who saw him. Alan loved the attention. He was well skilled at many things but that was only because he loved to do them.
There came a time when Alan began to realize that he was feeling different. He didn't know why but he liked one of his male friends. It was different, Alan felt like a white dot around many black dots. He didn't ask anybody about this but only kept it to himself. What Alan did do would cause him to feel not only sorrow but desolation. He told his friend that he had developed feelings for him. His friend not only rejected him but called him names and they were so terrible that the two got into a violent fight. The fight left Alan with a swollen eye and a few fractures. He lied to his aunt and uncle and said that he had just gotten into a fight at a tennis match. Everyone believed him, after all, he was a little flamboyant and did get a little competitive.
Only Alan knew that wasn't the truth. There was more to that and he didn't know what to say. What Trevor had said to him was awful that it almost felt wrong for him to feel that way. He didn't think he was normal but accepted that he had to figure out where his feelings lied. He forgot anout Trevor and dated a couple of girls afterwards and did feel an attraction toward them. But he doesn't want to believe that he one day had feelings for another guy so he keeps himself from thinking about that awful day.
