Name
Henry James Thomas Walker.
You can call him Henry, or Mr. Walker.
Age
50.
Gender
Male
Class
English Literature, English Language.
Also runs the book club, and gets as involved as he can with the drama club.
Appearance
There's not too much to say about Henry. From the look of him you can tell that in his younger years he was a very handsome man. Although now he's not bad looking by any means, you can tell that there used to be something more. Henry has lost most of the hair on top of his head, and keeps what hair he has left very, very short. Usually he'll have stubble, but will tidy up his face for special occasions, and when it's looking especially scruffy. Henry wears glasses, and owns more pairs than anyone could wish for, because he's always loosing them, then finding them as soon as he's bought a new pair.
Personality
All through his life Henry has been a very kind hearted soul. Always there to help people when they're in need. A shoulder to cry on. Not only for his friends and family, but for his students too. To Henry his students are like his family in a way. It's a little like they're all his children, and through his teaching he's trying to make them better people.
Literature is Henry's everything. When he's not teaching he's reading, or cooking ... but that's another story. In the past he's written quite a few books and went through a phase of being very well known for his crime novels, but now they're old news. Barely anyone recognizes him from the portraits on his dust covers any more. Not that it bothers him, his true passion always has, and always will be, teaching.
When it's called for Henry can be strict with his students, but would never do so for no reason. It's not like him at all to start yelling for no reason, so if he does yell, you know that he's pretty wound up.
Despite what you might expect Henry is not an old teacher who tries to be 'down with the kids'. Henry is just Henry, he knows that he's not a young man anymore, nor does he wish to be one. All he wishes is to be the best teacher he can be for his students. The best father, husband and uncle he can be for his family. That's all.
History
Henry met his wife Matilda when they were just seventeen years old. They were married by the time he was twenty-two. Felix, their son came along when Henry was twenty-nine years old. When Henry was forty years old his wife received a phone call that would change their lives forever. Matilda's sister and brother-in-law had died, they were given custody of seven year old Rosie Elliot.
When Rosie came to them Henry took time off work (at another Highschool as a teacher), to bond with young Rosie. It was in this time that he began writing his novels. For the next ten years he focused on his writing, but when Matilda decided they were to move to New York it seemed like a good idea that Henry would start work again. At Somerset Highscool.
