About My Character:
Full Name:
Rosie Elliot.
Age:
Seventeen, born on the 14th of February 1995.
Gender:
Female.
Grade:
Junior.
Sports/Clubs:
N/A
Appearance:
Rosie stands at just under 5"4, and weighs very little, so she's what you would call petite. There's not much she can do about her height, but she likes being shorter than most people anyway, her weight though, she can do things about. Over the years Rosie has battled eating disorders, well, I say battled. A better word for it would be 'maintained'. What can she say? Rosie just loves being skinny. Looking down at her pale body and seeing her hip bones sticking out, it makes her feel in power.
Moving on to Rosie's face. Overall she has a very pretty face, with big round eyes and plump pouted lips. It's very rare that she wears make-up when she's not going out partying. On a normal day you'd be lucky to see her with chap stick on. When she goes out however she spends hours getting ready. Lipstick, fake eyelashes, glitter, the full works. Despite getting compliments on her appearance Rosie is still very insecure about herself.
When she's out and about on a regular day she does her best to keep her head down, letting her brown hair fall over her face. Trying to hide her slim figure she wears baggy clothes, and just tries to keep to herself. This is of course, on a regular day. Days when she's at parties can be the exact opposite.
Personality:
Rosie does her best to remain as emotionless as possible. Emotions are messy, and unnecessary, that's what she always tells herself. It's not that she doesn't have feelings, she does, she has more feelings than she knows what to do with, but those feelings are no one's business but her own. Rosie is also quite secretive, she isn't one to go around openly talking about her life. If you were to ask her to tell you about herself, she'd reply; What is it you want to know?.
When left to her own devices Rosie can become very self-contained. It takes a lot of effort and nagging to get her to be social. Once she's in social situations she can be very polite and friendly. It's only when she feels she can trust someone that she truly shows her colours. This is of course until she get's some alcohol in her. Rosie gets all sorts of crazy when she's had a drink.
Behind the plain, polite, quiet girl, that Rosie pretends to be there is a far more rebellious person waiting to burst out. Only a few people have seen her when she's like this. Rosie is completely in love with the idea of self-destruction. It hasn't got to the stage where she wants to take her own life, yet, but she loves doing anything dangerous and outrageous.
Rosie desperately wants someone to love her. It's all she wants. Yet she never shows her feelings so she's making things a lot harder than they need to be. In her head sex is almost like love, she'll take what she can get.
Background:
Rosie was born in to a family with a lot of bad luck. It was well known, in the town she lived in, that the Elliot's were unlucky. Stay away from the Elliot's they're nothing but trouble. It was true they were unfortunate, in every way they could be, but trouble? That wasn't necessarily true. Kathryn and Gavin Elliot were kind hearted people, they had no control over the things that happened to them, or to those around them.
When Rosie was born things only seemed to get worse. The family ran a small farm, but their crops began to wither, their animals died off one by one. The roof caved in and the family was forced to live in the basement, where it flooded every time it rained.
Despite their misfortune the Elliot's always looked on the bright side. In their eyes, as long as they had their little girl, happy and healthy, that was enough for them.
When Rosie was seven her parents passed away. There was no cause, no dramatic disease, it was as if their bodies had simply given up. Rosie went to stay with her Aunt and Uncle, who were wonderful people, but they weren't her parents.
At the funeral Rosie didn't cry a single tear, she stood, and watched as her parents slowly descended in to the ground.
-
After that Rosie went to live with her Aunt and Uncle. They were old fashioned in the way they brought her up, but there were worse people to have a childhood with. The couple only had one child of their own, Felix, who is four years older than Rosie. During Rosie's younger years Felix was a very good big brother to her, but now they've grown apart since Felix went to College and her Aunt and Uncle moved to New York, taking Rosie with them.
Other:
- Loves taking photos, singing and drawing, though she's not especially talented at any of those things.
- Doesn't have any tattoo's or piercings, but she does want some.
