Five Teens at Build-A-Bear

Hannah was surprised when she realized that Wednesday - her best friend Wednesday! - had a brother. She was even more shocked to find out that she had been having sex with her best friend's twin brother for about a week now. Talk about uncomfortable situations! Once she got past the initial astonishment, however, she figured that this could end up being good thing. That meant they could all hang out, and Hannah could get to know Aiden without it technically being some awkward date. She was really bad at one on one dates, and didn't want to screw things up. So, with the assistance of Wednesday, she got a group together and they decided that they were going to go to the mall. How they ended up going from walking around random stores to deciding to spend a few hours in Build-A-Bear was beyond her.
She figured it would be a fun little adventure, however. She hadn't built a stuffed animal since this one party she went to when she was seven. It was a weird little gathering of second graders, really. She ended up building a bear with a pink head and a purple body and everyone thought it was ugly but she thought it was the prettiest stuffed animal. Her older brother dropped it in a blender, though, so that was the end of that.
They stopped as a group just inside the entrance to Build-A-Bear and Hannah wrinkled her nose. So many little kids running rampant - ew. Sure, they were cute - from fifty feet away. She turned to look around at the people assembled. Aiden, Wednesday, Jem, and Miles were all great people, so there was definitely not a better group to go to Build-A-Bear with, even if it was a little weird to do as teenagers.
Outfit: Look at her collage. Bright blue checkered shirt over a pink camisole, a white pair of jeans, and a pair of black and pink converse. She's wearing a beanie and her hair is curled.

Jem was feeling very, very awkward about going on this sort of group date. He and Miles had been hanging out quite a bit since he got out of the hospital. Going to see bands play, dancing at clubs, occasionally getting drinks or coffee or dinner together. One might say they had been actually going on dates instead of just "hanging out" but they hadn't really classified it yet. Jem wasn't entirely out of the closet, but all he could think about every time he saw Miles was how nice it would be to hold hands. He really didn't want to think about his sexuality; he would like whoever he wanted to like and not label it. Yet other people wanted to put a label on him, which caused Jem great amounts anxiety. He refrained from having the conversation with Miles to find out what exactly they were.
What else made it awkward was that Aiden was there. They had never talked about what had happened over Thanksgiving. All he really remembered was going to the club, getting a bunch of drinks with Aiden, and then grinding on him. He also faintly recalled bringing him back to his dorm and crawling into bed with him. Then, when Aiden asked what had happened, he lied. They had been on the verge of talking about it but Jem went immediately into fight-or-flight mode and asked Aiden to leave so that he could sleep off his hang over. That was it, then; they didn't talk about it afterwards and Jem was too afraid to. He didn't want to have to admit to his best friend that he was gay, and had, at one point, been extremely attracted to him.
Still, he wanted to have fun at Build-A-Bear and pretend everything was normal. There was a cool sort of silence between him and Aiden. He wasn't sure if his best friend was mad at him or not for never talking to him about it, but he wasn't going to bring it up in front of the group. He looked at Miles and smiled softly; that boy was really cute.
"Okay, how about this? We should all build bears for each other." He suggested, perky and cheerful as always. When everyone agreed (or at least looked okay with it) he whipped out his phone and put their names into a randomizer. "So... we're all making bears. Mine is going to Aiden," he looked a bit surprised, and hoped Aiden was okay with that. "Aiden's goes to Hannah - how perfect." He had heard about their little attraction to each other, and winked at Aiden in a you-go-man kind of way. "Hannah's goes to Wednesday, and Wednesday goes to Miles, and Miles goes to me." He grinned, excited to get to making a bear for Aiden. "Now that that's sorted - let's go make bears!"

{ www.polyvore.com/death_cant_touch_crooked_young/set?id=85551973 } Build-A-Bear! Wednesday's inner child was screaming with excitement, whereas her outer child was only jumping up and down with excitement. It had been yearssince she stepped foot in the store, but it felt good to be back. All the little kids running around were a little annoying but she figured that once their group were fully involved in bear making most kids would back off. A group of teenagers could be pretty intimidating, no matter how cute they all were individually. Their little group was making Wednesday unreasonably happy, her best friend, her twin brother, and then Jem and Miles who she didn't know very well, but they seemed cute, were they a couple? Wednesday wasn't sure, but they sure looked cute together. When Jem explained the plan about making bears for each other Wednesday squeaked with excitement. What better way to make a new friend than to build him a bear? Yup, this was awesome. Plus Hannah was making hers. YAY! 'Let's do this thang!', she exclaimed a little too loudly, punching her fists in to the air.

{ www.polyvore.com/miles/set?id=86742856 } Miles was quite excited to be out with their little gang, it felt nice to be doing something as a couple, but in a group if that made sense? Not that he and Jem were actually a couple ... Yet. They'd hung out a lot, and hugged quite a bit, but not in anything other than a friendly way. Miles vaguely recalled holding hands a couple of times, but never in a place where people could see. It was a little ... Well, it was a little upsetting honestly, but he knew Jem had his reasons, and he respected that. Some people weren't as open about their sexuality as he was and that was fine, he guessed. Miles was a little confused about the concept of building your own bear. Surely just buying a bear would be easier ... Or was the building meant to be fun? It was hard to say, there were a lot of screaming children and a great deal of them were crying, though Aiden's sister seemed to be really in to it. Miles turned to Jem and grinned, 'I'm going to make the best bear you have ever seen in your life', he stated, matter of factly.

At first Aiden hadn’t been sure about this entire thing because he was still not sure what to say to Jem, he really wanted to talk to him though because he wanted his best friend back, and at this point he didn’t care what had happened. He wasn’t even mad about Jem not wanting to explain everything. His life just felt so boring without him, and it hadn’t even been that long he just missed having his best friend around all the time. Either way he was a huge child on the inside so he was excited to go to build a bear. Who cared if this place was for screaming five year olds?
He turned to Hannah, hearing Wednesday’s excitement he laughed. “I’m gonna make you the best bear ever,” he was excited that he got to make one for her, and he had no idea how he was going to make it when he didn’t know that much about her but he would figure it out.

Hannah was officially super excited. Before, she'd had doubles about building a stupid stuffed bear. However, Jem's idea to make bears for each other was actually really a good idea. She didn't know Jem very well, but she suddenly thought he was a lot cooler than she knew. She'd heard from Aiden that he was just a crazy dude in general, but he was a crazy guy with interesting thoughts. She was glad when she got Wednesday as her partner, for her to make a bear for. She was also very interested in seeing what kind of bear Aiden would make for her. Something inside her told her that she would probably end up loving it, because who doesn't love a custom made bear?
Hannah laughed when Aiden said he was going to make her the best bear. She turned to Wednesday and squeezed her friend's hand. "I think I'm going to make the best bear ever for you!" She said excitedly. "I have a ton of ideas." She grinned, and tugged Wednesday to the bin where all the like bear shells were. You picked one out and filled it with stuffing and whatever else, like charms and such, and then dressed your bear and paid. "Come on," she called, meaning for everyone to come with. It was a group adventure, of course.

Jem knew right away what kind of bear he was going to make for Aiden: an "I'm sorry I got you drunk and tried to seduce you on a National Holiday" bear. He wondered if they had those at Build a Bear. Probably not, because you have to make your own bear. So, Jem was determined to make Aiden at least an okay bear and a damn good apology letter, too. He needed his best friend in his life. Sure, he had Miles, but Aiden understood him in a different way. Where it was flirting and holding hands and such with Miles, it was talking about deeper stuff with Aiden. Going to Toys R Us and buying Barbies to burn over a stolen bunson burner was like a typical adventure for the two. Eventually he'd be able to talk about stuff with Miles, but he needed Aiden to goof off with for the time being.
"To the bear bin!" He cried, rushing off towards the bin. He immediately started sorting through the empty bears for one that looked sad and apologetic. He pulled out a brown one of medium size with a ribbon around it's neck that reminded him of those ribbons you get on old fashioned jam jars. Checkered with thin lines and thick lines on a white background. Haha, jam jars... Jem jars. No, he decided to put that one back and keep looking.

'Yay! I'm excited!', Wednesday said to Hannah as she too started rooting through the assorted animal skins. It was kind of gross if you thought about it. All of the skins were ready to be stuffed so they were currently just soggy shells of animals and bears. 'Miles is like ... German or something right, and he's gay ... So, I mean, what kind of bear does that sort of guy want?', Wednesday asked Hannah in a hushed tone, trying not to laugh too much. What kind of bear do you make a gay German kid? What an odd question. Wednesday picked up a rainbow coloured bear and winked at Hannah, seemed she had found the perfect skin.

Miles followed Jem and started looking through the various bins, he wasn't really sure what kind of thing he was looking for. Something that reminded him of Jem he supposed. Maybe a cat? Jem liked cats, right? Miles found himself wondering more and more things as he looked through the bears, he didn't feel anywhere near prepared for this. Maybe he was just taking it all too seriously.
Taking a break from looking through a bin which contained Unicorns he looked around and found himself face to face with Aiden, he held up his hand in a greeting, 'Hello', he said, realizing he'd actually never spoken to him before. How rude!

Aiden couldn’t say he knew Miles that well, and had never actually formally met him, but it seemed like Jem liked him. He wasn’t sure where he came from, but if Jem liked him then he had to be cool right? He had a rainbow bear skin thing for his bear for Hannah, and he was looking at the sounds when he turned around and almost ran into Miles. Well that was a great way to make a first impression.
“Hey, I don’t think we’ve ever like met or something, hi I’m Aiden,” he said. “I mean you probably already know who I am so that was probably weird, but I usually make things weird so I guess it’s good because then you’ll know that I’m a weird person… or something,” he shrugged. He knew he should have been paying attention to the conversation he was having, but his eyes lingered on the sounds for the bears. He had a great idea now, and he was excited to make it happen because he knew that she was going to love it.

Hannah laughed as she and Wednesday started tearing through the bins full of animal shells. Or whatever the fuck you call them. Either way, they're pretty morbid - empty teddy bears! It was like a crime! Hannah was looking for something cute to give Wednesday. She had a few ideas, mainly that it had to be colorful and it should probably be a cat because she always thought Wednesday would look cute with cat ears. Is that weird to say? She just thought her face would be adorable with like a black nose and cat ears! Nah, that wasn't weird at all!
"Really? He's German and gay?" Hannah glanced at Miles, then looked over at Jem, who looked frustrated while sorting through animals. "Ah, so is that Jem kid..?" She squinted; Jem was cute and adorable. And totally crazy. She wondered if he was - he kind of looked like he could be. She had turned around at one point and caught Jem and Miles holding hands but they let go so fast that she thought it was an accident. "Oh, they're a cute couple," she decided, smiling at Jem and then glancing at Miles.
