Dorm. Oh yeah that sounded like a good idea. It was out of this hot sweaty place, and other then the fact that Jem was very drunk, and Aiden was well, not as drunk. After his third shot he decided not to drink anymore, because he was feeling tipsy already, and being drunk to the point where he was blacking out, and not able to walk at all much less in a straight line was not a good idea. He nodded at Jem. He didn’t even care what was going on, and if he had been thinking straight he would have told Jem to stop drinking a while ago. He didn’t think about it thought because at the moment it was all fun and games.
Since he hadn’t driven here, and he assumed neither ad his friend, he got a cab, and dragging him out to the street was a bit of a process since he couldn’t exactly walk straight either. “You’re heavy,” he said. Blinking as he adjusted to his surroundings on the dark outside, and tried not to fall over. He paid for the ride and when they got back to the school took Jem to his dorm. It was surprising that he knew where it was because he had been there a thousand and one times. He just wanted to curl up and sleep forever, after tonight. He had lost his hat a while ago at the club, and he looked gross now, but he didn’t care. He didn’t even feel the need to look and see that he looked crappy.

"I am not heavy, you bitch." Whoops, there it was. Jem was getting almost there to black out, which meant his inner female was a little more prominent. He let Aiden lead him to the cab, swaggering and staggering like a pirate to get there. He almost puked in the back seat, but the driver yelled at him and he ended up just holding his breath until they got there. It took away most of the nausea, he found out. It was a trick he had learned along the way.
What was he doing, taking Aiden back to his dorm? He wasn't at the point where he'd really try anything. He just slumped along, following Aiden inside, where he shut the door and stumbled to his bed. "Com' shleep wif me." He whined, slurring over his words, his tongue feeling heavy in his mouth full of sand. The bed was comfortable and he could feel his eyes drifting closed. He just wanted to cuddle and sleep.

“Ok,” They were probably going to have to talk about this at some point. This thought did not occur to Aiden though, because he was not thinking, and maybe this wasn’t the best idea but the bed did look comfy, so Aiden crawled into the bed with is friend not thinking a thing of it. It probably wasn’t the best idea ever, and if he had been thinking he would have thought that it was going to make things awkward for them later, but right who cared. He was tired, and it looked comfy.
Honestly it was. It was comfy, and maybe that was just because he was super tired, and a little bit too drunk to care that he still had his clothes on. It was easy to let his eyelids drift shut. Generally he was up for what felt like forever trying to get to sleep, but now he was probably going to fall asleep in a second.

The next morning, Jem woke up with a raging migraine, brought on by a hang over. He had ended up sort of... curling in towards Aiden in the middle of the night. Extracting himself from the bed was hard, considering he didn't want to wake the sleeping bear. He shimmied his way out from under the covers, and looked at his rumpled appearance in the full length mirror next to his door. His shirt was covered in something that looked a lot like shots and vomit. Wrinkling his nose, he peeled the white fabric from himself, and then shrugged. Not better, but not as bad as it was before. He reached into his mini fridge and pulled out a beer to help with the hang over. Just a little bit to take off the stinging and numb his poor brain.
He turned towards the bed and sighed wistfully. Aiden looked so cute asleep, his hair all fussed with and his face scrunched up as he dreamed. He had been pretty drunk last night, but he still looked adorable. A pang in his heart told Jem that this wasn't just a friendship thing. This was... something more. Could he have a crush on his best friend? He thought he did. A night ago, he would have never admitted it to himself, but by grinding on him, didn't he kind of admit it to Aiden anyway? They would definitely have to talk about it...
Sitting down on the bed next to Aiden, he poked him in the shoulder. "Dude, wake up."

Aiden groaned when someone poked him. He had a headache and all he wanted to do was sleep forever. It seemed like a good plan until Jem decided to move around, and try not to wake him up. Although, he did end up sleeping again after that, he was that sort of awake where you don’t want to get up because you felt like you were going to be able to fall asleep again, if someone wasn’t poking you and telling you to get out of bed.
“I don’t wanna,” he groaned. “What time is it anyway?” why he even care what time it was anyway, it was probably just for something to say. He didn’t need to be anywhere today, or ever really, despite his protests though, he sat up and rubbed the back of his head. Oh bed head, why did you have to go around making people look horrible all the time? He knew that his hair was all over the place, and that he probably looked like crap from the night before, but he didn’t want to see what he looked like. So he didn’t move from where he was sitting.
Then it all came back, well most of it. Oh yeah, they were going to have this talk now? Sure let’s talk about how I’m not gay even though it seems like everyone on earth thinks I am, and that I’m pretty sure that made me seem a thousand and one times more gay, and oh yeah did you just come out of the closet? Well maybe I can put off that talk. He knew he couldn’t though, so there was no point in trying really.

When asked the time, Jem glanced over to the clock on his wall. Digital, of course, because he was too lazy to read numbers. The green blinking lights were too hard to read for his pounding head ache, but he could make out a twelve. He assumed it meant noon, and not midnight - they couldn't have slept for an entire twenty four hours, after all. "It's noon. Or sometime around there." He shrugged and rubbed a fist against his eyebrow, trying to rub that damned headache out of his mind. "God, my brain is like, split in half." He didn't even care to explain that technically all brains have halves anyways and what he meant was that he had a "splitting headache." Either Aiden would get it, or he wouldn't, and it didn't matter.
He handed Aiden his beer can, now half empty. "Here, that helps a bit. Numbs you down a little bit."

“Thanks but don’t you feel a little weird drinking in the middle of the day?” Aiden asked, but he took the drink anyway. He didn’t feel like that was the right question to have been asking since he was doing it too. He didn’t really understand the logic of drinking more to get rid of a hangover but he didn’t say that. He just took a drunk from the can and yawned. “I just feel like sleeping and never waking up,” he said. In response to the headache comment, he really wanted to ask the question they had yet to address, and start the conversation but his head was throbbing and he didn’t think he could handle that conversation now. Or ever.
He’d always been a tiny bit curious, as to what it would be like, and maybe because he was drunk that side of him decided to come out. The fact that he was drunk could have been why it didn’t feel right. Either way he was pretty sure that he wasn’t into guys even though It seemed like everyone thought he was. It was safe to assume that though because sometimes he did jokingly hit on guys. He wasn’t sure he liked them though, and then there was Jem. Wasn’t he supposedly straight too? He wasn’t sure if he was in the closet or maybe they both didn’t want it. At the moment he was very confused as to what was going on, and the fact that he had a headache was not helping him figure it out.

Jem shrugged when he mentioned it was weird to drink in the middle of the day. Honestly, he didn't give on singular fuck. He had been drinking for years now, and nothing stopped him from taking a swig at noon or taking a swig at midnight. It didn't really matter when, as long as it gave him that buzz. Something in the back of his mind told him that he should probably care, at least a little bit, considering he was underage and probably destroying his liver - and his brain. Yet he couldn't bring himself to actually mind his bad drinking habits. He liked to drink, because it took his mind off of - well, everything. His life was pretty fucking confusing. Taking the can back, he downed the rest, feeling a serious talk coming on. His life was about to get a whole lot more complicated.
"So um, about last night." He looked to the floor, then furrowed his brow.

“Yeah about that…” Aiden was really hoping that they were just going to forget about that, and never speak of it again. It could have been one of those type of ‘We were really drunk and it’s never gonna happen again’ things. Then again it would probably come back to haunt him eventually. He couldn’t find the right words to say to even start explaining anything that happened. “You remember that?” he asked raising a brow at Jem. He was hoping that maybe he wouldn’t remember it because of how drunk he was the night before. That and It was the only thing he could think to say, and maybe it wasn’t the wrong question to ask because his friend had been pretty drunk.
Instead of beating around the bush anymore though, he decided to ask the question that had been on his mind. “Are you like gay or bi or whatever? I mean not that there’s anything wrong with that… I mean if you think about it, it would be so much easier to be with a guy, cause you can have sex whenever you want, there’s no excuses other then I don’t want to… and like you can share clothes, so you don’t have to give up your entire closet because girls have a thousand and one pairs of shoes, oh and you can’t get anyone pregnant and you can still have sex all the time,” he wasn’t exactly sure why he kept talking, because it wasn’t really relevant to anything.
