So far so good. Jaime didn't feel too nervous around Stormy anymore. It felt so much like a roller coaster. For a good period of time you're both on good terms but suddenly everything changes and it's all just very awkward. Jaime thought that they were in a comfortable status. Although he was certain that after he tells Stormy what he's been meaning to tell her, things are going to change drastically.
To make things less bad for her, he bought her her favorite snack. Something she can munch on while he talks. Jaime was nervous, who was he kidding? Stormy was a very likable person. She was beautiful and immensely talented. He couldn't understand why she was single — better for him, he knew.
The day was a normal, November day in New York. The sun was setting and it shined that light that didn't burn you no matter if it was hitting at your direction. He had texted her to meet him there but he wanted to be early so she wouldn't have to wait.

She wasn’t sure why her friend Jaime had texted her and asked her to meet him at the park, but since they were friends she texted him back and said sure she would do it. They had become friends now that all the awkwardness was over and she thought he was a nice person. Actually he was pretty sweet, he was a likeable person. So she got out of bed and got dressed. She figured it was going to be warm outside, and it was. It wasn’t hot either so she figured her outfit was appropriate, and pair of jeans and a three quarter sleeve t shirt. When she got to the park, she was surprised to see he was already there but she greeted him. “Oh hey you brought snacks,” Stormy was always eating, and it was a wonder she didn’t weight eight thousand pounds, probably from all the dance practice. “You now I feel like I should have brought food we could have made this a picnic,” she commented. Any guy who brought her food was obviously amazing. Amazing was a good adjective. Since he happened to know her favorite snack food. “So what’s up?” She asked him. Wanting to know the reason for him asking her to come here with him.

A big smile appeared on Jaime's face when he saw Stormy walking toward him. Well, this was it. It almost felt as if he was going to ask her to marry him but that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. He wasn't sure if they would last but he hoped he did. Don't we all hope that that one special person will be the one? It was natural for that to come to Jaime's mind.
"Hi Stormy!" He scooted a little so she could have room to feel comfortable. Jaime kept the smile on his face despite that there was nothing amusing happening but he was both nervous and happy. "Oh, it's fine, I bought enough for it to be a picnic." he said, taking a few snacks in his hand and showing her before placing them inside the bag and smiling closed.
Well, this was it. "Stormy... I know that we're friends, and I love that we're friends..." he paused, where was he going with this beginning? "I'm sorry, that was a terrible start.. What I want to tell you, is that I really like you." he said, simply. Although that could have been taken as a simple 'I really like you' praise that friends told other friends or maybe Stormy would catch up on it.

“I really like--“ Stormy started talking before she realized what she was saying, and what he had probably meant. Her lips formed an ‘o’ in shock of what he had told her, and it wouldn’t have been so weird if she wasn’t in the middle of chewing some salt and vinegar potato chips. Which she realized when she made the face and instead of just closing her mouth like a normal person. She started to say something else but started choking. When she was done coughing, and her face was a bright shade of red she finally looked at Jaime, and cleared her throat.
“Well that was probably attractive,” she said. In an ‘I know you just said you like me but this is so awkward what do I say? ‘ tone. “So where were we…” she let her voice trail off. “Like… like like?” She sounded like a little kid when she was asking that question. Not only did it take her a second to realize what he meant but after that she was honestly surprised by the fact that anyone would like her. She wasn’t sure how she was supposed to respond to him saying that either. Maybe he was nice and cute, and well did that mean she liked him too? The whole thing was just confusing, what did she say now?
What are you supposed to say after someone admitted to liking you, didn’t they usually just admit it, and then kiss and then ride off into the sunset? In movies that’s what happened… but what happens after that? And I’m pretty sure we’re beyond just kissing, and being happy since we’ve already done that.

It wasn't like other girls to act this way around Jaime. Usually it was the other way around. He was supposed to get nervous and blush as red as tomato but now it was Stormy who was acting that way. He knew how that feeling felt and when she said that she felt like it was an awkward thing to do, he smiled slightly.
"Yeah..." Jaime scooted in closer to her, slowly moving a hand along her cheek. His hand was slightly cooler than what her cheek felt and he didn't know what to do but hope that she wasn't nervous. It was really the last thing he wanted her to feel. Simply because he knew what it was like to be like that. Jaime had no idea what to do now, he had his hand on her face and he was looking into her eyes but usually people kissed during these types of situations.
"Can I kiss you?" he asked her, looking from her lips to her eyes.

“Kiss me?” She asked, like he had been talking to someone else, she was the only one he could have been talking to. Why was she so nervous, it wasn’t like she hadn’t kissed him before, but it didn’t mean anything. “I uh…” She had never had anyone ask her that before, and as nice as it sounded she wasn’t sure what to say. What did this mean? “I don’t think my mouth probably tastes good ‘cause you know salt and vinegar….” Why did that have to be her favorite kind of chips? Why was she even talking about that? For a second she just stared at him. She was still shocked. Why would anyone like her? She didn’t understand, but she nodded slowly, finally giving him a real answer to his question, and let him kiss her.
I'm sorry I suck
