Name: Acacia Serenity Chisholm . Her parents were kind of into that whole nature name thing, her first name, Acacia is pronounced like Ah-Kay-sha, and she sometimes goes by cay, which is pronounced like Kay, but she also goes by her full first name, and generally leaves it up to the person to call her whichever they want.
Grade: Sophomore
Age: Sixteen
Gender: Female
Sport/club: LBGT, she did track in middle school, but quit when she came here.
Appearance: Acacia is a pretty girl, with long brown hair, that is usually layered, and hangs down to about the middle of her back. She generally keeps it down, and sometimes curls it, most of the time she styles her bangs to the one side, the left, and doesn’t do much to her hair other than blow dry it and put a little mousse in it. Sometimes she will wear her bands clipped back, but that is rare.
She has brown eyes, and is a little bit tanner then most, but isn’t super dark. She is normal height, but a little bit skinner then she should be for her height and that may or may not be a self-confidence issue that she has to deal with. Her sense of style is a little bit out of the ordinary, she was raised in a fashion that taught her to dress in a modest manner, and to never wear “man’s clothing” and it still resembles that these days.
Although she might not believe in the teachings of her parents she still tends to wear long skirts, like she was taught to do growing up, and band tee shirts, to go with them. She had an obsession with sunglasses and owns about forty pairs of sunglasses. She also likes to style her outfit with boots, and might also have a slight obsession with those. This style of dress often earns her a reputation as a hippy. She tends to not think about the things that people call her but sometimes she can’t help but feel judged by other people. She has a very nice smile though, and likes to show it off.
Personality: Acacia is sort of a really weird mix between tomboy, and girly girl, her actions say more tomboy, when she goes out and schools the boys with her skateboard. She tends to act more like one of the guys then she wants to admit, but her sense of style, long skirts and long hair makes her seem like she would be a girly girl.
She isn’t at all a shy girl, and tends to act like it. She really likes to talk to people and make friends, and most of them she doesn’t judge very well and sometimes ends up dropping. She is one to strike up a conversation with anyone, even though she fears being judged by them. She tends to act like one of the guys, for the most part and make friends with guys better than girls. She doesn’t like the drama and could care less about the popular people.
She doesn’t want to be friends with everyone, even though she will talk to almost anyone. She really likes to do things with her time and doesn’t spend much time on things like school work, like her mother she is a very free spirit and sometimes very careless about her grades.
She aspires to be a fashion designer and has very big dreams that she might not be able to accomplish, dreams that she knows are far away. She is a very imaginative person, sometimes something people would say is over imagination, she likes to imagine things in her mind, and to create scenarios that might never come true. She likes to skateboard, and she does that often, she also likes to show off.
She tends to go a little overboard with the showing off thing and ends up hurting herself sometimes. She has a vintage type style and likes to buy things from thrift stores instead of going to real stores, she likes adventure and the hunt of finding the treasure that she is looking for and the search. She really likes to go on adventures and try new things which sometimes might lead to her pressuring people to o them with her that really don’t want to.
History: Her mother was a free spirit she never finished high school, ran off into the might with her boyfriend and married young. She had a son before she was eighteen, and being pregnant with him really changed her a great deal. She was an artist, and played music at a coffee shop, the usual. She drank and did drugs more then she wanted to admit, so when her first son was conceived she was surprised, she was only seventeen years old, and dropped out of high school, trying to make a living for herself with her boyfriend, who later became her husband.
She decided to get a job, and ended up working as a waitress and a stripper, while her husband declared that he wanted to go back to school, and make something of his life. Their first son Aspen Marley was born on the way to the hospital, and that was when, her mother, Jill, found something to help her get through tough times. She found herself, getting a new job, and going to church, for the first time in her life she believed in something. She had something to believe in.She started to adapt the religion and quit her job at the strip club because she was only allowed by her religion to wear modest things. She instead worked her other job and focused on raising her son, and working on her paintings. She also worked on her music, and tried to find a mix between everything.
By the time she was pregnant again, this time with twins Acacia, and Jude, she was making a pretty good living performing at small shows, and working as a waitress. She sold a few paintings, and her husband was helping out with his job while he went to school, although it was difficult they were actually doing it, and this was what she had dreamed of. It was almost two years later from her first child that the twins were born on September tenth nineteen ninety seven.
They were the pride and joy of her life, because she had really wanted a daughter, and now she had one. For a few years the family worked hard to get everything they needed and they worked hard to make it work, but eventually, Joseph, finished school, and got a job working for a business of a friend from school. At first it was unsuccessful, but eventually they became the founders of a successful business, and the family was well off all of a sudden.
By the time the twins were six years old it was no longer tough times for the family, even though their parents still raised them to believe in the value of a dollar. Jill taught her daughter the ways of her religion, the one that saved her, from a young age, and Acacia never questioned it. She took it as the way that she was and she had no opposition to it.
Six years after the birth of her twins Jill found out she was once again pregnant with another daughter. She happily brought Harley Saige into the world on the Fourth of July two thousand and three. After that, the family decided to make the move from their small city home in Chicago to a small town in north Carolina where they lived for almost seven years before eventually moving back to the city, to New York.
Acacia got really into riding horses and joined many competitions and enjoyed the feeling it gave her, she also fell in love with something else. She really liked the idea of skateboarding which was shown to her by a friend. Her mother did not like that, and the fact that Acacia was starting to go against everything she had raised her to be, and one day, she came home from a friend’s house, and instead of a long skirt, she was wearing pants that she borrowed from a friend. At this point her mother gave her a speech about how disappointed she was, and Acacia, a ten year old girl at that point told her that she liked it.
This horrified her mother and for the next year she tried to force Acacia to conform, and also became pregnant with her fifth child September Rayne. She eventually decided that this would be her last child, and when Acacia was eleven years old she got a new little sister, and her mother who had complications during labor that almost killed both her and the helpless child, decided to lay off on her daughter. Acacia was always closer to her father though, even though he worked most of the time.
After that, the family returned to normal, and Acacia became sort of the black sheep of the family, and spent many days riding horses, and not being at home, and it wasn’t until she had an accident, when she was twelve years old that ended with her getting pins in her leg, and a concussion that her mother realized how dangerous this could be.
So, after she found out that she was once again pregnant, the family decided that after the baby was born they were going to move to New York City, to be closer to their father’s job, but the child, whose name was going to be Lyric Alexander died due to complications of the labor, and the family moved sooner than expected, because their mother decided that she needed a change of scenery. When she was fifteen Acacia started school at Somerset in the middle of her freshmen year with her older brother and her twin brother.
