I was just getting off the phone with Kevin and he was telling me that Dallas needed me but he couldn't exactly say what Dallas needed. For once, I decided to actually drive to Dallas's apartment. It was around eight o'clock at night when I finally left and about ten minutes into the drive I was finally reaching the city. I was at a four way intersection and it was my turn to drive. From the short distance I could see a car coming from my side but they were far away and I could tell they were spending and swerving like crazy. I was debating I could make it in time to actually cross before the guy got there, not that it mattered he had a red light.
As I began to cross it wasn't long until my car was spinning. The drivers side of the car slammed against my body and I couldn't find control. My head smacked against the window hard and that was really it. The dizziness got to me as I tried to get the car to stop and my head was spinning. There was blood on the window and seeing that made me think I was going to throw up. When they car stopped, it felt like hours until the paramedics got there and I was on the verge of passing out as they had to get the door of my car off from how pushed in it was.
I felt someone lean over me and ask my name but all I could really process was I wasn't at Dallas's house. "I need to go see him..." The words slurred as the paramedic responded to me, "Who? Who do you need to see?" My head was spinning and I was slowly going unconscious as I mumbled Dallas's name.
Thalia was just starting to wake up about six hours after the accident which made it considered temporary coma. From what she was told she had fractured four ribs which they were going to keep an eye on but they were going to have to heal on their own, in her hip she had Bursitis which explained why it hurt really bad to move her left side, and on the left side of her head by the temple she busted it open from slaming against the window so hard so she now had stitches there too.
She looked up when she heard talking through her sleepy eyes. Her head was still in a lot of pain and she had an IV in her arm probably to help with the pain. "Hey baby girl, you're brother had just left a little bit ago saying he'd call your friend for you and he'd possibly be back a little later to check on you. How are you feeling?" The nurses tone was soft and mothering and it made Thalia let out a small smile. "I'm alive... But in pain. I can't move my hip, it hurts." The nurse nodded as if she suspected that answer saying she'd be right back and help her up a little bit.
The nurse was gone for a little bit and she was falling in and out of sleep until she heard a familiar voice. "Dally?" Her voice was in more of a cry of pain but she couldn't help but think how much it sounded like him. The nurse was leading Dallas through the hospital talking to him. "Okay, so she has four fractured ribs, Bursitis in her hip, and on the left side of her head it was busted open. Normally we wouldn't allow friends back to see her, but her brother gave permission and we even called her father to make sure. Her dad said this was okay and he brother wanted me to just let you know. If you want, you can sign her out and she can go home with you. If you don't want her to, Max said he'd be by later to help her to her dorm but he can't wait her which is what she needs."
When the sound of Dallas's voice got closer she opened her eyes again which at this point we're starting to close from falling asleep again. She could have sworn she was hearing this outside her door of her hospital room, but she couldn't tell. Her head turned to the side when she heard the door open back up and she couldn't feel tears forming in her eyes just from seeing Dallas. Him seeing her like this made her feel terrible. Seeing her in this kind of pain but yet she was so happy to see him. "Dally!" Her voice had excitment in it but it was still sounding painful and wasn't very loud.
