Rachel wasn't really the party girl type and she certainly didn't think that anyone should spend their nights drinking alcohol and smoking pot! She didn't dislike anyone who chose to live differently but she just didn't feel like she needed to do those things. Her brother was always trying to tell her that she 'didn't get out enough' and how she really needed to start getting laid soon or she'd just be a wrinkly old cat lady living alone in a shack. Did people really peak sexually at sixteen? She just couldn't imagine that she was the only virgin at this school who wasn't interested in those unsavory things. She wasn't going all the way nuts like saying that she wasn't ever going to have any sort of sexual contact until she was married but she did want to be in love with the person that she gave her one virginity to. It wasn't like she would get another chance if the first time majorly blew.
Born again virgins did it, she supposed but she didn't know if that really counted and it was far easier to just wait for the one special homeless man moment. She wasn't planning on that happening anytime soon but she still made sure that she had a pack of condoms hidden away in her nightstand. She didn't think that anyone would go rooting through her personal belongings during this party but she didn't want to risk awkward moments with anyone here. What if someone happened upon the condoms and thought that she was some kind of an easy little tramp who was going to put out like nothing? The only thing that she was planning on 'putting out' tonight was a plate of tacos and brownies for her guests to enjoy and she really hoped nobody would stick their body parts in those!
She also had a large pepperoni pizza placed on her desk for everyone to enjoy and her mini fridge was stocked with various cans of soda and bottles of Snapple. She wouldn't be angry if someone chose to bring alcohol but she obviously couldn't provide it for them. Where would she even get booze when she was so underage?

www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=92939869He had just happened to be in the chat at the time the party was announced with his sister looking over his shoulder, and telling him to not be lame and go. Since he probably just would have been sitting around alone if she hadn’t, which didn’t sound that fun. So he took her advice for once and decided to actually do something and go, because he didn’t feel like being with his siblings anymore. He loved them, but they could get really annoying after a while. He didn’t drink much so he wasn’t sure that he was really going to have fun at the party, but he figured that he might as well try and act like he knew what he was supposed to do at the party. He ended up being the first person to show up at Rachel’s dorm, which was probably not a good thing If he didn’t want to do the whole, not looking lame thing. Since he really was kind of lame. He wasn’t sure if he should knock or not, or just go in but ended up knocking and then just entering anyway, which was how he found out that he was the first person there. “You have really nice eyes too,” well that was a great thing to say to someone. Especially after only knowing them for about ten seconds, but he was talking to Rachel, and she had said he had nice eyes, which he didn’t think they were that great but hey.

( www.polyvore.com/michael_dorm_party/set?id=92923650 ) Michael was slowly but surely gaining more confidence in himself. Ever since Jon started getting plenty busy with his little family and all, people were really starting to notice Michael for who he was rather than who he was related to. Maybe now he could change his Tumblr url from 'the-other-russel' to something else. Regardless, he felt better enough to be able to go out to parties and not worry about being mistaken for Jon, or asked about his brother. Everybody knew how he was doing, anyhow, nobody really needed to ask. Michael was now Michael... his only problem now was, figuring out exactly who he was. He'd spent so long in his brother's shadow that it caused him to worry about whether he knew who he was, himself. Michael could distinguish everything different about himself from Jon but none of that ever really mattered in terms of identifying who he was individually. He ran, he swam, pretty much tried to get involved in everything that Jon wasn't. That, and, Michael would never choose money over a girl he was in love with. Not that his brother would do that now, but Michael always had a stronger moral code than Jon. Maybe it was the fact that growing up, he was raised to be a gentleman. Michael treated girls with respect and tried to be nice to everyone he met, which was both an advantage and disadvantage, considering how rare niceness was in today's society that it's often mistaken for flirtation. Michael chose to attend Rachel's party that night merely because, well, he enjoyed the girl's company at the blind date they'd signed up for. She made pretty awesome cookies -- the one she'd baked for him was really good and a part of him was silently hoping for more, although he wasn't going to ask for any, and Justine was supposed to show up, too, and it was always nice to see her. Adjusting the collar on his shirt and sliding his Beats headphones around his neck, he knocked on the door before twisting the knob and opening it, sticking his head in, "Knock knock?" he said aloud with a chuckle.

( 24.media.tumblr.com/ce1b39e65155715433b8a644466ba462/tumblr_mr3qbvUBMj1sepbyxo1_500.jpg ignore the other girl in it ok) Ever since she decided to put things on hold with Luke, Lacey had grown severely bored. She loved her freedom, she loved going out, she loved being able to flirt with any attractive guy she saw fit... but being alone and not having someone to cuddle with on her bed while watching Life as We Know It was really taking a toll on her. She was lonely. And a part of her felt like using sex to fill that void would be okay, even for a little bit. Lacey didn't want to crawl back to Luke just yet, she was having too much fun. This was supposed to be healthy, her going around and experimenting with other guys to reassure her feelings... but it was doing more bad than good. She didn't miss Luke as much as she should have and the fact that the only reason she felt she'd go back was because she was lonely was not a good sign at all. You shouldn't want to be with someone because you're lonely! Deciding to ignore all her inward thoughts, she fixed her hair in the mirror and tried a smile at herself, placing her hands on her hips and taking a look at her appearance. Lacey had gone shopping just hours earlier and she wasn't patient enough to wait to wear her new clothes so she'd decided to wear them for that night, and she loved it. Walking down the hall searching for Rachel's dorm (thank god they were in the same building) she kept a smile plastered on her face, trying to exude any confidence that those new clothes were giving her. She kept a bottle of cherry Skittles flavored vodka in hand, just because she'd seen little Rachel around and was sure the girl wouldn't have that stuff lying around anywhere, and besides -- what's a party without a little candy flavored liquor, am I right? She opened the door without knocking and entered, "I brought Skittles!" she announced, holding the bottle up with her right hand and presenting it to everyone else... which wasn't very many, and her smile dimmed a bit, but she kept a straight face, walking over to the table and setting it down.

Rachel was ecstatic to see that people were slowly showing up! First Jude who she'd spoken to fondly in the chat then Michael who was super duper cute... And had nice eyes and made her stomach feel like someone set a hundred butterflies loose inside of it. It wasn't like she had a crush or anything though! She just thought that he was a fabulous amazing person who deserved more credit and she occasionally baked things to leave outside of his dorm anonymously. "Michael!" She gushed as she reached over to greet him with a big tight hug. "How are you doing today? Are you hungry? You look hungry.." She paused before reaching for two brownies on sticks and handing them to the adorable teenage boy in front of her. "Here! I think that you'll like these especially if you enjoyed that cookie that I made you." She assumed that he liked it since he hadn't vomited after eating it or sued her yet.
She then turned her attention to Jude since it would be awfully rude not to. "Oh! Thank you! I don't think my eyes are as pretty as yours though." She giggled before giving him a hug as well only it was shorter and not nearly as affectionate. "Are you hungry, too? There's tacos and pizza and I mean obviously you can help yourself to a brownie or drinks from my mini fridge over there! I didn't buy any alcohol but I'm sure that someone will bring some if you guys really crave it." Speak of the devil! She had barely finished what she was saying when she heard Lacey come into the room with alcohol. "See! I must be magic, I told you guys that someone would come through for you." She hated how her accent came out stronger when she was more excited especially at times like this when she was in front of someone as cute as Michael. She knew for a fact that she'd be over this soon and it was likely just because their date had been so amazingly fun at least for her.
She was just seriously hoping that he'd enjoyed himself too! "So I was thinking that we could play some spin the bottle!"

Rachel knew that her relationship with Kyle just wasn't working like she wanted it to but she was too stubborn and scared of hurting him to admit that. She was ashamed of herself for not having stronger feelings for him and she was hoping that this little Valentines day surprise would bring something up between them. Romantic chemistry, maybe? It wasn't like they couldn't carry out a perfectly lovely conversation or that she was itching to get away from him when he was around! She enjoyed his company but her feelings didn't go beyond that. Shouldn't she want nothing more than to spend time with him at this point? They'd only been dating for a couple of weeks and she already felt like the spark was out.
She'd asked around and got a few answers that just wouldn't work like have sex or suck his dick. She wasn't willing to give up any of her morals just to keep a boy around. She quite liked having every part of her body as virginal as possible. She never had to worry if her period was late or lighter than usual. How did girls who had sex handle it? She imagined that she would be a nervous wreck if she had a need to worry about pregnancy. Girls like Esme Russel were cautionary tales to her.. She'd been having safe sex since she was fifteen years old and yet she'd still ended up pregnant before she was ready. It just showed her that even one time can change your life completely like Kirsten Beckatt who got pregnant relatively quickly after losing her virginity.. Or had it actually been her first time when Jaxon was conceived?
Situations like that were exactly why she wanted to be married or at least in a loving, stable relationship before losing her virginity even if sex could change her feelings for Kyle. She went with the option that didn't involve getting naked and planned a nice romantic indoor picnic in her dorm room. It would have been outside but it was far too cold and gross out to even think about spending an extended period of time out there at night. She'd spent the afternoon cooking a nice little meal of tacos for them and some pudding cups for dessert. How could Kyle not enjoy this? It was everything that he enjoyed! She'd even gone out and had a bracelet engraved with his name on it.
Yeah, she was overcompensating but she didn't know what else to do. She couldn't just be honest and admit that she just didn't think of him like that anymore. She used to but those feelings had faded once she realized that he didn't appreciate the cookies nearly as much as Michael Russel.
