Full Name: Whitney Alice Clearwater

Grade: 9th
Sports/Clubs: majorette and color guard (assuming this school has that, since they do have a marching band), book club.
Appearance: She is skinny, but about average height. She has long blond hair. Her skin is white and sometimes tan. Most people would consider her pretty, but she doesn't try to look it. She never wears makeup or jewelry and she often wears a leather jacket to make herself appear tough.
Personality: Whitney is usually a kind and caring person. She doesn't have many friends but she is very protective of who she does have. She has trouble making friends because she's kind of shy. She's also very argumentative. She won't be afraid to stand up for her beliefs, even if it means getting in trouble. She is kind of paranoid and is always worried that people are out to get her. She survives by hoping for a better future. She fantasizes about having a best friend. She's tries to appear tough and strong, but she's not.
Background:Whitney grew up with her twin sister, Amy. They were best friends when they were little kids, but when they went to school, Amy found other friends. They let Whitney play with them for awhile, but started excluding her more and more. Since then, Whitney has fantasized about being Amy's only friend again, and about having a new best friend. Neither of these wishes came true.
She was often alone as a kid, and she didn't like it. She began to dislike others for excluding her and became angry and hard to deal with.
One day, after going for a ride on her bike, she came home to find her house robbed and her parents and sister murdered. Whitney was sent to live with her aunt, but her aunt didn't want to deal with them so she sent her here.
So far, Whitney doesn't like it here. She's never liked school.
Everything at school is about rules and how well you follow them. She likes and dislikes the fact that she doesn't know anyone. She's hoping that things will be better here then at her old school. She's trying to get involved in things and is hoping that she'll make friends.
