This is one of the best tattoo parlors in this part of the city. You will never be dissatisfied with a piece of work or body piercing because they only hire the best of the best. All artists are required a two year apprenticeship until they will be considered for a position. After they are accepted, they must pass their certification test and will then be welcomed into the family. All of our new piercers are certified as well. So what are you waiting for? Come in and let us show you around our world here at Kaleidoscope Creations. You won't regret it. Don't forget to say hey to our beautiful store mascot, Bugzy!

Crysta had been looking forward to this all day, she was in a new old town, time to get a new old piercing. Two years ago Crysta had the right side of her nose pierced, but after an argument with her mother she was forced to take it out. Now, despite her mothers threats of 'You'll never get a job with metal sticking out of your face!', she was going to get her septum pierced.
It took a little longer than she'd like to admit for her to find the tattoo studio, but when she came to it she did a little happy dance outside the front door before going in. Tattoo studios were always amazingly cool places to be, and Kaleidoscope Creations was no exception.

Warren had been in the back room shadowing Ben who was one of their more experienced artists. He'd been accepted for their two year apprenticeship, but would be doing piercing until he learned the ropes. They thought that with his talent, the kid would make a great add on to their growing family. Warren jumped when he heard the chiming from the front door and casually walked to greet whoever it was.
"Crysta! heyy. What's goin' on?" He asked from behind the front counter. Was she here to slap him over what he'd said over the chat a few days ago? Or was she actually here because she wanted something? Act professional.. act professional. She's not scary. To ease himself, Warren dropped his hand to the sleeping puppy in the chair next to him.

Crysta honestly considered walking straight back out when she saw Warren emerge from the back room. Now, Crysta wasn't one to judge but ... Wait, no, Crysta was one to judge and from the conversation she'd witnessed on the chat a couple of days ago Warren was a huge jerk. The urge to get a piercing was too strong for Crysta to leave now so she just sighed and folded her arms across her chest.
'Oh it's you', she smirked and rolled her eyes, 'Didn't peg you for a tattoo ar...', Crysta was cut off short when her eyes fell on to the puppy that was sat on a chair next to Warren. PUPPY! her mind screamed, but she tried to play it cool.
'Oh my God! A puppy!', she squealed, pointing at it although there really was no need, Warren probably already knew it was there.

Yeah, she was definitely here to kill him, or castrate him, or do something horribly unmentionable. "Aye, tis' me, matey." He joked, laughing as his worrying died down the minute she laid eyes on the dog. That was always people's reactions when they saw him and yet Warren still hadn't gotten used to it. He let out an airy laugh at the girl, and wrapped Bugzy up in his arms.
The fat little butter ball of a puppy grunted and squirmed in his arms before settling on a comfortable spot. Warren walked him around to the other side of the desk and asked if she wanted to pet him. That was a nice piece offering, wasn't it?

When asked whether she wanted to pet the puppy Crysta nodded eagerly and stroked him a couples times before just getting overwhelmed with cuteness and basically wrestling the puppy from Warrens arms so she could hold him. Crysta bounced Bugzby up and down as if he was a human baby, obviously being gentle as she really didn't have permission to be holding him in the first place.
'So are you an apprentice tattoo artist, or what?', Crysta asked, barely taking her eyes off the wriggling puppy, ''Cause I came for my septum pierced, so who do I need to talk to?', she offered Warren a smile at the end of her sentence, to show she wasn't going to slap him or something equally as harsh.

Yeah, the little grumpy puppy was definitely a good peace offering between the two of them. Warren adjusted his blue snapback so that the bill was faced backwards on his head. His hand ran down the back of his neck as he started to answer her, "Right on the dot, actually. But they have me doing piercings at the moment. Since Jeremy isn't here, I guess I'm your man today." He smiled and headed back behind the desk to retrieve a piece of paper.
On it read all of the terms, permissions, useless information all of that fun formal shit that no one liked doing. "Just read this over, autograph here, initial here, and I need a drop of blood or something here." When he realized she hadn't caught that, he smiled and looked to her, "I'm kidding.. All done? Great." He showed her behind the desk and into the room that held all of the equipment.
They were momentarily joined by Ben who was taking a break from a detailed piece that he was drawing up for one of his clients, and watched Warren over carefully, making sure he didn't miss anything. When he was sure he had it under control, the man walked off and went back to his work. "Are you nervous?" Warren asked Crysta as she took a seat in the chair. He opened everything and prepped the area in which he thought looked the best, including the marker dots for placement. "Is that spot cool with you?"

'Me, nervous?', Crysta inspected her reflection in a mirror on the table next to her, she didn't see anything wrong with the placement, but she wasn't a piercer, so she didn't really know, 'No way, and yeah that looks fine', she shrugged. Crysta wasn't the type of person to get all fussy with the placement of a piercing.

Warren let off a short airy laugh and had her sit back down. "You seem so fearless." He said, as he started to proceed with the process. "Alright, here we go. You're going to feel a pinch." He said, clamping down, "Now breathe in aaand..." Warren shoved the needle through with little effort. "Wooo! You're doing great." He said, going for the actual ring now. Once that was through he continued, "You're all done."

'Ha!', Crysta let out the small laugh, she couldn't believe how quick it was. It had made her eyes water however, and she could feel her nose swelling a little. Hurriedly she wiped away the tears forming in her eyes with the cuff of her jacket. 'You're not bad at this stuff Warren', she said, holding her hand up for a high-five, once Warren had high-fived her she asked, 'How much do I owe you anyhow?'. Now this was the part that really hurt.
