Collin smiled and looked down at the table when Becca ordered the same thing as he did. And when she elbowed him, asking if he'd ever had one of the margaritas, he shook his head. "I guess I've been missing out then," he said through a toothy smile with a silly chuckle before looking back to the table. When Becca joked about the masseuse, he laughed. "I didn't know you'd have such a hard time," he teased, pushing her shoulder just as the bald man returned with their drinks. "Ooh that looks good," Collin cooed, leaning over the table to sniff the glass. It was fruity, which meant it was probably gonna taste really good.
Just as fast as the drinks had come, so did their entrees. Two steaming plates, each topped with two beautifully dressed tacos and a bottle of sauce was placed before them. The little bald man bowed before walking away and told them that if they needed anything, to holler. Collin thanked him and began picking at the soft shell of one of the tacos. "So.. how's the school year treating you?" he asked, trying to make casual dinner small talk. Which, honestly, felt really weird and he couldn't help but laugh a little bit.

Becca rolled her eyes and chuckled when he blamed her for having a hard time. She bumped her shoulder into his just as the margaritas and food came to the table. She reached for the plastic glass and sipped at her drink. The ice was great and the lemon lime flavor was delicious. She smiled and sighed, enjoying it. Then she reached out for her taco. It looked really good, and the bowl of tortilla chips on the table did too. Dunking the end of her taco into the sauce they served with the meal, she took a small, dainty bite and almost choked on how spicy it was.
"Hot!" She seethed, and gulped down another sip of her margarita. "Woo," she cried, eyes watery at the amount of spice. "Tis is why I love Mexican food," she laughed and leaned back against the seat, her shoulder against his, comfortably. She liked chilling and hangings out with Collin, he was cool. "Um, nice stab at small talk," she smiled and grabbed a chip. "School is good. In haven't gotten into any trouble yet. How ago for you?"

Collin giggled when Becca announced how hot the food was. Man, this was turning out to be a rough night for her. Mimicking the way she'd dunked and bitten her taco, Collin coughed with the heat. She was right... it was pretty damn spicy. Reaching forward for a chip, Collin felt her against his shoulder. That was nice.. he smirked. He appreciated the fact that she was comfortable enough around him to lean on him. But he frowned a bit when he thought about the fact that it probably meant nothing to her seeing as she had Cameron.
"Excuse me for trying," he laughed when she teased him for the small talk. "And same," he shrugged. "School's... school. The usual." He wanted so badly to ask about Cameron. But he thought that'd be way too awkward. I mean really, how do you about casually asking whether or not your best friend and possible love interest is dating some other guy? It probably wouldn't be such an awkward question if he didn't care so much about the answer.

Becca sighed and slumped against his shoulder, nibbling a t a chip piled high with salsa. She was exhausted, but having lots of fun. "Collin?" She said suddenly, yawning. "Do you typically bring people r ok climbing? I've known you for what. A year now, and we haven't fine climbing until today? What's up with that, man?" She laughed and bit at the chip again. "Speaking of school!" She sat up, excited. "You never told me - did you end up going to homecoming with someone?"

"I only take people I think are cool," he said in a suave tone, though he meant it to be funny. "Nawh man I dunno it just seemed fun. Better than going for pizza like usual." He reached forward again, this time a bit more gently so as to not disturb her leaning on his shoulder, and dipped a chip into the small bowl of guacamole. As he brought it to his mouth, he grunted in response to Becca's question about homecoming.
"No.. I didn't go at all," he said through a mouthful. "Didn't wanna go without a date. Which I didn't have. Did you go with anyone?" He was back to picking at his taco again.

Becca smiled at his rock climbing jokes and then thumped his shoulder when he leaned. "Stay still," she whined, resting her head against him and closing her eyes lazily. She wasn't so much hungry, so she was going to just chill and rest while he finished his dinner. "Oh, so you didn't go? No girls worthy for Me. Wolfe yet?" She teased, smiling at him as she sipped her margarita, sitting bid up. She didn't want to lean on him too much, that would be weird. She wasn't going to send mixed signals or anything. If there were any signals at all to begin with. "I didn't go either," she comment, a little bit of melancholy in her voice, though she tried to hide it. "Cameron and I talked bout it and then we just didn't."

Collin nodded lazily as she talked about how her and Cameron had considered going to homecoming together. "There's a girl I wanted to go with.. but she's got a thing with some guy," he said, taking another chip go to his mouth.
"So this Cameron bro," oh god, here came the word vomit. He couldn't hold it in. "Are you guys dating or something?" Nice one. Good job. Start talking about Cameron, probably make her uncomfortable, and just eat chips like its no big deal. Yes. Smooth move, Collin.

Becca just shrug about it. "No big deal. I'll go to homecoming next year," she said, assuring herself more than anyone else. "Hey, if I don't have a date then, I'll have to ask you," she said with a smirk, poking him in the robs before she settled against his shoulder. "What girl is this? Is she cute? Have I met her?" Becca asked excitedly, ticking his ribs to try to get the name out of him. "Tell me who it is or i'll tickle you to death!" She threatened, giggling. She wondered, on this inside, if it might be one of the newer girls. Like the emo blonde chick, or one of the really pretty seniors who were always starting trouble.
She paused her attack as she considered the question about Cameron. "Honestly?" She said slowly, mulling it over in her mind. "I don't know. We kissed, at the park the other day. And we've kissed a few other times and hugged and there hasn't been n actual date yet, but... I mean, my brother can't know his beat friend is dating me, that'd be weird. So maybe we're on the down low. Or something..."
