Ah, what a great day for a game of mini golf and cheaply priced, poorly made hamburgers. The sun was shining, there wasn't a cloud in the sky, there were children crying and Bo Costello couldn't have been any happier. He and Bee Reynolds had planned this outing a few days ago and it was an understatement to say he was excited. I mean, what's more fun then hitting colorful balls into tiny holes while on a miniature court? Well let me tell you what's more fun. What's more fun is doing all that, then going to McDonalds. Nothing says fun like a heart attack on a bun.
Bo drove. He didn't own the greatest car, but it got them where they needed to be and that's what mattered. Upon walking up to the counter, Bo immediately grabbed the neon pink ball. "Fuck yes I love pink," he said, to which the teenage girl running the counter just snickered and looked away. "How many holes?" She asked. Bo couldn't help but laugh. "Eighteen," he finally managed, still laughing. The girl nodded, rung them up and handed Bo two putters. "Twenty five dollars," she said as Bo got his wallet out.
It being a particularly warm day, Bo had worn a white and blue horizontally striped tank top and a pair of tan cargo shorts. On his feet were his newest gray and white Nike sneakers. He'd been sure to show them off to Bee earlier.
Running a hand back through his yellow hair, Bo handed one of the putters to Bee and took the other for himself. "Let the battle begin!" he hollered, a fist in the air. Pivoting, Bo started for the courts.

"I never understand how the balls fit in such a little hole!" Bee giggled as she took the putter from Bo; what a lovely way to spend the day! She was always fascinated by the colorful decorations on the miniature golf course though she could never get the ball into the clown's mouth because she felt guilty doing that to him. "I'm the best golfer in the world!" She actually wasn't but she tried and that counts, right? She was practically giddy as she reached her hand over to hold onto his. "Safety... I was told to always hold someone's hand when walking through a busy area." She didn't think much of it at all! She figured that all people were forced to hold hands when they were walking somewhere busy.
She kept looking over at him and biting down on her bottom lip; he was awfully cute! And he was the only person who didn't call her stupid which was why she had told Wallace and King Twinkie all about him. "Why are there so many midgets here?" She pointed to a group of small children dressed well similarly to how Esme use to dress before she got pregnant with her daughter, "I didn't know that midgets weren't elves until Cooper told me that it's offense to call them elves." She didn't mention that she was terrified of elves making her look like a bitch whenever she saw a small person since she ran away screaming in sheer terror.
She was embracing the warm day by wearing a pair of denim shorts and pink graphic tee shirt with a picture of a glittery unicorn on it. Her feet were snug in a pair of white sandals and her hair was curly and fell down her shoulders as she wanted it to.. Yeah, she had help getting ready from Esme... she could just never figure out the curling iron! Aren't you suppose to hold the hot part?

Bo looked down when he felt her grab his hand. Well, that was odd. But he smiled anyway and squeezed her hand as they reached the first whole. "Midgets?" He asked, looking over his shoulder st the group of kids. "Oh my gosh they are midgets! But.. everyone's a midget to me..." he pouted like a puppy before setting his ball down on the little black marker.
The first hole was just a straight shot. No fancy little bumps or water or alligators or clowns or anything. Just a straight shot. "A bite of your burger at McDonalds says I make a hole in one," he said with a smile as he tightened his hands around the rubbery part of the putter. Sticking his butt out a bit, Bo looked up at Bee. "Think I can do it?"

"Hmm.. I take you up on that offer." Bee knew that he was going to be able to get it but she didn't really mind sharing her burger with Bo! He was a cute guy who never called her stupid like the other people that she knew. He didn't seem to think that she was just a weird loser who read books upside down and believed that unicorns were real."You're never going to get it because I'm a magical wizard." She nodded slowly before adjusting her putter in her hand.
What if he really didn't get it in the hole? Would that mean that she was really magical? How amazing would it be if she was secretly a witch like Sabrina? Just because she didn't find out on her sixteenth birthday like her didn't mean that she could't be magic! It was a relatively easy shot from the looks of it so she didn't doubt that he could get it in... But really.. How did the ball fit in such a tiny hole? Like how does a giant dick fit in a small hole? She would never understand!

Bo smiled when she said shed take the bet. Slowly, with much concentration, Bo swung his putter back very slightly and tapped the ball towards the hole. He held his breath for a moment, and the ball went in. "BOOM!" he yelled as he stood up and turned to Bee. "That'll be a bite of your burger," he added with a wide, toothy smile.
As he stepped away from the tee, Bo playfully slapped Bee's butt and whispered a "let's see you do better". He meant nothing by it, other than a bit of playful competition, but after he did it he realized how it could've been taken. But honestly, he didn't mind. He didn't expect Bee to take it that way.

Bee wasn't surprised that he got it in the hole.. How could he not? "Yay!" She was more than ready to do a better job than him when he slapped her butt... Oh my! She could feel her cheeks burning a bright crimson red.. Did he have a crush on her? Did she have a crush on her? Did he want to skip through a meadow barefoot while singing silly love songs to each other and playing the guitar? Why did that mental image not bother her more? "Oh... I--I--can.. I can.. do better." She stuttered.. She hadn't stuttered since she was in the first grade. What was this guy doing to her? Why did she suddenly feel like she had a million butterflies in her tummy? She didn't remember eating those!
Her hands were sweaty as she gripped the putter and she really didn't expect to get the ball but that didn't mean that she thought the following events would happen! She swung at the ball and it swerved to the left and hit some little kid's ankle.. "Sorry midget!" Oops. That was such an easy shot! How had she possibly missed that? What kind of a spell did Bo have on her? She was still blushing.

Bo giggled when she missed the hole and leaned on his putter like a cane. "Bit of a miss, huh?" he said with a smile then poked her shoulder. "You still got a couple more shots.." he reminded her, dropping his putter to the ground then putting his hands on her shoulders from behind. He moved with her slowly, setting her up to swing again (with a different ball because the one she hit.. who knows where it went). Placing his chest against her back, he slid his hands down her forearms to help her grip the putter correctly.
"Swing lightly, and concentrate," he said softly, eyeing the hole where the ball needed to go. Shifting his feet slightly, Bo laced his fingers between her's and pulled the putter back, then let it fall forward. The ball was struck and traveled slowly towards the hole. A perfect shot.
But as cute as that all was, Bo pulled himself away from Bee and bent over to pick up his own putter as if it hadn't even happened. "See? Not so hard!" he said with a goofy smile before skipping towards the hole to pick up his and her balls.
What a tease. And he didn't even know it.

Bee wasn't expecting Bo to help her! She could feel her cheeks blazing so hot that she was surprised that they weren't smoking, "Y-y-our perfect." She managed to stutter out after he pulled off of her, "I mean.. it's perfect! That um... lesson." She reached a hand up to run her fingers through her hair which was definitely going to mess up her curls but she needed to do something with her hands! Did that mean that she had a crush on him? No! He wasn't Bo! It wasn't like she thought of him as anything more than a friend! And she totally wasn't thinking about how soft that his lips looked.. Like a baby bottom.
Where did that even come from? What does it matter if something is as soft as a baby's butt? Why would you be touching a baby's bottom that much anyway? Oh perverted! She looked up to see he had skipped to the next hole and she followed slowly behind with a nervous expression before she once more reached over to hold onto his hand. "H--h--i--i.. B-B-B-Boo." Boo? What in the hell? Damn stuttering.

Bo was a bit shocked when his hand was grabbed again. "Well hello, Bee," he said quite happily before giving her hand a little squeeze then dropping it so he could take his turn. He got all set up, the ball put down and his hands on the putter and everything, but straightened back up quite suddenly. "I'm bored," he said with a furrowed brow, looking over at Bee. He would've continued to rant, but he had only just started to notice how pretty she was. The way her blonde hair was shining in the sun and the way she was just standing there oh so cutely. Cocking his head to the left, he smiled at her.
"You're like a little bumble Bee," he said with a giggle.

A bumble Bee? How cute was that! Bee made a 'mhm' noise as she tried to think of something equally cute to call him... "And you're a Boo Bear." She mused it so affectionately that she almost forgot the nature of their relationship.. They were just friends! "Um.. Are you hungry? We could ditch this midget land and go get our McDonald's? I do owe you a bite of my burger." She reached her hand out to grasp it around his once more.. It just felt nice to hold his hand. like her hand just fit somehow in his.
"But.. Um... I bet you a kiss that I can get this ball in one shot." She nodded before dropping his hand and grabbing the putter. She got it in one shot just like she was hoping but now she was worried about what he was going to do.. What if he didn't want to kiss her? What if he did?
