Thalia finally had just gotten Colton to finally fall asleep, and she had just laid him down in his crib. Walking out of the nursery she saw then the green Viper she had known to come and love pull up in their driveway. She didn't even know how she was going to confront him about what his best friend had just recently told her. I mean, she didn't understand why he'd tell Kat all about how he cheated on her twice when they first got together.
Of course that's not even counting the time Carolyn came along and he just let her give him a blow job. But that was different. He came forward and told her about it. And she couldn't even begin to explain how much it hurt her to have to find out from Kat about his two affairs he was having.

She sat down on the couch in their living room, pulling her knees up to her chest. She heard the front door open and she jumped slightly at the sound of it. Looking up she spotted Kegan and put a small smile on her face. As he walked towards her to give her a hug and kiss she just slightly hugged him back but didn't bother kissing him back. As he pulled back he has a small confused look on his face.
She raised a eye brow at him, before looking down at the ground. "I talked to Kat earlier today, she stopped by... It was a pretty interesting talk... Did you talk or see anyone today, Kegan?"she asked curiously looking back up at him. Her voice has a hint of sarcasm and like a know it all sound in it. And she was pretty sure the way she sounded came out bitchy. But the conversation they were about have, needed to happen.

Kegan gave her a weird look and sat across from her on the coffee table. "No Hi, honey, how was your day? Or Damn, Kegan, you lookin sexy as fuck in that CVS shirt?" He tried to make her smile, but it didn't work at all. She looked like she wanted to murder him.
"I haven't talked to anyone, aside from the people at work, why? And why would Kat come over here when she knows I'm not home?" He tried to think back through the things he'd said to Kat recently that she'd tell on him about and came up with noth-- oh shit.

That little traitor.

He swallowed hard as he figured out what she must be talking about. He could just imagine how the talk with: "Now I'm only letting you know this because I'd want you to tell me if Dallas cheated on me, blah blah blah I'm a backstabbing bitch."

He tried to look confused, but he could feel himself sweating, not sure what Thalia was going to do. Was she going leave him? He couldn't handle that. He was completely in love with her, he didn't want to lose her! He should have told her when it happened, but...for some reason it didn't seem like a big deal. Those girls were just numbers. He loved Thalia.

Thalia shrugged, "Kat and I are friends. We talked on occasion. And today just happened to be on of those says we had a nice little chat" she said sitting up sitting cross cross apple sauce now in her seat. She ran her fingers through her hair and looked at him. "Any cute workers at your job? Any I should look out for...? Make sure they aren't trying to fuck you?"she asked. She wasn't even trying to be funny at this point. She was just wanting to try and find out if there was anyone else she should be looking out for who could be getting the attention of her man. And that's what Kegan is. Her man. No one else's. She would fight for him no matter what. But she couldn't help but feel completely hurt he never told her.

"Wouldn't it hurt to find out from a friend i cheated on you when we first starting dating?"she asked as she cocked her head slightly. She knew he would answer that with a yes to that it would hurt. So she continued on. "I never thought... After everything we talked about before we got together... All that shit you said about hating cheaters, you would never see anyone because you didn't want to be cheated on... I would have never thought you would have cheated on me"she admitted as she looked up right into his eyes.

"Every girl at work is either gay, taken, or old, okay?" Kegan sighed and rubbed his eyes. This was going to be a horrible conversation, and he knew it.
He looked down when she actually said it. "I know, I..." he sighed, feeling like the worst possible human being. "There's no excuse, I should have told you. But...things were different then. I was different. Baby, I love you so, so much. I was...I was fucked up. Maybe I still am, but..." He looked up at her and grabbed her hands.
Looking into her eyes now, it felt like he didn't even deserve to. But he had to let her know that he was sincere when he said he was sorry and that he loved her more than anything in this world.

"Baby, I never would have put that ring on your finger if I wasn't totally and completely in love with you. I should have told you because omission is just as bad as lying, and I am so, so sorry. You're the only girl for me. Those other girls? They mean nothing. You are my everything. I understand if you want to leave me now or something, but..." he sighed again. "I just love you, even if I don't deserve to. And I'm really, truly, sorry for being the worst person ever."

Thalia pulled her hands away from his and stood up. "Don't you pull that sweet shit with me, Kegan Jonah Conley. What you did can't be fixed with a simple apology."she breathed out and ran her hands over her face. "It's not fair! It's not fair I had to find out ten months later by your best friend! I barely know Kat and she came over and had no probably telling me!"her voice was raising as she spoke.

She suddenly got quiet as she remembered Colton was sleeping just down the hall. Don't cry, Thalia. don't. [\I] She was trying to hard not to cry it wasn't even funny. She felt like he didn't trust her enough to tell.her at the time. "Did I... Did I do something that made you want to do that? I mean... You cheated on me three times.... What did I do? Was I a bad girl friend at the beginning? Too clingy?"she asked suddenly feeling nervous for his reply. She didn't want to know if she was a bad girl friend... But she needed to know if that's what caused him to cheat.

"No!" Kegan stood up, almost angry that she would try to blame herself for this. "It had nothing to do with you! I told you, I'm taking all of the blame for this. All of it. It had nothing to do with you, I am one hundred perfect at fault for this, and I should have told you when it happened, so you could have just walked away."
He was being too loud without even noticing, because all too suddenly, he heard the familiar cry of his son on the baby monitor.

Sighing he walked back to Cole's room, knowing she'd follow. He picked up his baby boy, and began to try to sooth him in every possible way.
"Look, I'm really sorry for this, Thalia," he whispered. "If you want to leave me, I'll understand. Just..." he looked down at the baby crying in his arms. "Just don't take Cole away from me, okay? I'll...pay child support and everything, I just..." he let his voice trail off, not wanting to cry like this.
He knew she should leave him, and never let him see Colton again, but he was so in love with her, the thought of her not being with him was...just too painful to fathom.

Thalia followed Kegan into Colton's room when they heard him crying. She was really hoping he wouldn't have woke up, it took her almost an hour to get him to fall also before Kegan got home. At the site of her baby boy being in her handsome fiance's arms... She couldn't help but relax a little. He was such a beautiful baby boy that they made together.

She heard his voice starting to get scratchy and saw tears in her eyes, and she had some tears in.her own eyes. "I don't want to lose you , Kegan. And I could never leave you, I love you way to much. It's just... The thought of you not telling me about those other girls.. It hurts me"she whispered. "I could never, ever leave you. And i would never take Colton away from you Kegan"she said wrapping her arms around him and her baby boy. She pulled away once more and looked at him. "Just know, it'll take a while to gain my trust Kegan.And i'm not kidding.. "she said looking up at him because taking her hand and running a finger over her baby boy's small hand.

"It was different back then," Kegan said, a tear rolling over his cheek, and he couldn't wipe it away since he had Cole in his arms. "I didn't know how to love you back then, and I was confused and scared, and... I'm so sorry, Thalia."
Back when he cheated, their relationship didn't mean very much to him. He thought they were going to break up, he didn't even really consider sleeping with those girls cheating because it didn't mean anything. But when Carolyn touched him, he realized that he could possibly love this girl and...now, everything was just a huge mistake. Everything he did to ever hurt her made him hate himself. If he couldn't forgive himself for being the world's biggest hypocrite, how could she.

"Shh, baby, shh..." He whispered to his son, trying to console him. He rubbed his back, kissed his head, checked his diaper...he was just crying because of being woken up and the colic. So that just meant they had to wait it out. He looked over at Thalia, not even caring that he was openly crying. Not sobbing, but...the tears wouldn't stop coming because he was just so ashamed of himself.

Thalia put her hand on Kegan's back and guided him to the living room so they could sit down. Once they sat down she put her arm behind Kegan and started playing with his hair. " It's okay, You made a mistake. You're human"she whispered as she took her hand and wiped his tears away. After doing so, she leaned over and kissed Kegan's forehead.

Thalia looked down at Colton and sighed, "before you got home it took me almost an hour to get him to fall asleep"she said before looking at Kegan. "Want me to go warm up a bottle? He might be hungry"she said as she leaned over and kissed Cole's forehead before running her hand over his and he grabbed hold of her index finger. She smiled down at Cole and kissed his hand before looking back at Kegan.

Kegan couldn't even look up at her as she comforted him. He knew he didn't deserve it, she was being way too sweet to have just found out that she cheated.
"Yeah, I think he's hungry," he mumbled, trying to pull himself together. When she left, he leaned back on the couch and shifted Cole so he was in a more comfortable position. He'd calmed down some, but was still screaming his head off. As usual.
He just couldn't believe he'd never told her. Truth be told, he didn't think about it at all after it happened. It was...just a thing. Just something that was, not what he thought really mattered. And now he realized that his infidelity — even in the very beginning before they really fell for each other — hurt Thalia more than he could have imagined.

No, that's not true. He knew what it was like to be cheated on. True, it may have been different because he was in a two year relationship when it happened and Carolyn had been a total bitch about it, but still. He knew how awful it felt when someone you love cheats on you. And he'd done it to Thalia twice without even bothering to tell her.

When she re-entered the room with the bottle, he handed her their baby so she could feed him. There was a few minutes of silence as they both watched him eat, and saw his little eyes droop as he finished the bottle and fell asleep in his beautiful mommy's arms.
"Thal..." he whispered, still looking at Cole. "I know I broke your trust, but...just know that I was a different person back then, and I love you more than anything in this world." It felt a little different to say that with Cole right there, but he still knew it was true. Thalia was his soul mate. He just wanted her forgiveness.
