Tori nodded along with Kyle's story and found himself chuckling when he mentioned being the uncle of Dexxie. "Small world indeed!" he said through a broad smile, slapping his thigh and then bringing his hand back to his side. "That's so funny that you're related to her. Rory talks about her an awful lot."
"So Arizona, huh? That's pretty great. I'm from Ohio, just so happened to be up here for the weekend to move one of my OTHER sons in with Kyle and Rory. He, uh, my other son Zack, he's recently transferred to Somerset. Let me just say that if you get him in your class, he certainly won't skip. He's very big on basketball."
Suddenly, this conversation had taken a turn. The matter of Kyle had almost been forgotten by Tori and instead of talking professionally, he'd let his walls down and was talking to this man like he'd known him all his life. He was just so easy to talk to! That was an admirable trait. So many people in this day and age were set for business and professionalism. Tori, though; he was a talker. And a pretty laid back one at that.

'Ohio huh? I dated a girl from Ohio', Kyle replied, not really knowing why he felt the need to divulge that information. Kyle had no real knowledge of Ohio, so he'd gone with the only thing he could relate to it.
'Oh yeah?', Kyle smiled when Tore mentioned Zack, 'Basketball is always fun, the kids tend to favour it. They freakin' hate self defence, which is my personal favourite', he shrugged and went to sit down on the bleachers.
'What do you do? If you don't mind me asking', Kyle smiled, hoping he wasn't crossing over any lines. Usually he kept these parent/teacher meetings short, but he didn't mind chatting with Tore. The guy was cool, for a dad.

"Oh, ha," Tori sort of snorted, following Kyle and taking a seat beside him on the bleachers. "Well, my wife says its not a REAL job.. but I'm a blogger." Leaning back on his elbows, Tori crossed one leg over top of the other and let out a sigh. "She wants me to get a 'real job'," he added, putting up air quotes around 'real job' before returning his arms to their perched position. "Can't seem to find one though. Not in Ohio, anyway."

Kyle nodded along when Tore mentioned he was a blogger. Very cool dad occupation. Yeah, Kyle liked this guys style. When he mentioned his wife wanting him to get a real job Kyle sat up straight, a thought popping in to his mind.
'The School is actually looking for some new staff, you know, if you're getting desperate', he didn't want to seem weird for suggesting it so he continued, 'My boss would be really happy with me if I found a new teacher ... You think you can teach? It's not hard', he smirked.

"Oh well uh.." Tori was flattered by the offer, but confused because he'd only just told the man he was from Ohio. But then again.. he could always move up here. What was the difference? Well, minus the fact that there was less corn and less Walmarts. But the family would be so happy with him! A new job, a better paying job.. it sounded perfect. Surely Nick and Erika would be a bit upset what with leaving their friends and all. But they could make new friends, couldn't they? Kyle had, Zack was willing to.. so they could too. "I'd have have to call my wife and make arrangements," he said, still thinking about the offer. He was really considering it now. "I DO have my PHD, y'know. Teaching shouldn't be so difficult," he added, brushing off his shoulder with a smile and turning to Kyle.
"Y'know, you might just be a life saver," he said, tilting his head lightly to the side. "This might be just what I needed."
