It was still so amazing to James that he'd been hired at such a prestigious school when he didn't even have a teaching license. Was he supposed to have gone to like college for that? He'd just asked his wife to pull in a favor for him and since she was on the school board and controlling the funding, it was fairly easy to weasel his way in. Sure this meant that he had to remain married to that frigid sea wrench but that wasn't so bad. She basically had money coming out of her hoo-ha and she let him spend it however he pleased as long as he never let her find out about his affairs. They both knew at this point that they were happening quite often but she made it very clear that appearances were everything to her even above a true loving relationship and stable father for their children. He loved little Henry and Monica but spending time with them meant spending time with his wife who he could barely tolerate for more than sexual intercourse. She just constantly nagged him about this or that or this event that they needed to go to or how he needed to stop trying to drive the car into the pool blah blah, Who made her queen and master of their house anyway?
Due to his drunkenness the previous night and raging hangover this morning, he did not have a lesson plan ready for his afternoon class. He'd faked it for the morning one by saying it was 'nap class' and awarded the 'best napper' but that just wouldn't fly this period so he came up with something literal on the spot. A marriage assignment to show students that marriage isn't all sunshine and skipping into the roses! He was going to randomly pair students by his personal ships, people who hated each other or those who just had a crazy amount of sexual tension like that Cloud kid and that Cupcake girl if they showed up.. Were they even in this period? He could barely remember their names let alone what time that they usually attended his class. All that he really knew was that Bald Eagle was out of the picture and now he could have his one true pairing - CloudCake.
Was it wrong for a teacher to have such obvious ships? Probably but he wasn't planning on stopping anytime soon. "Okay class! As all of you know.. I'm married to a sixty-seven year old with three chins who I married when I was eighteen and naive.. Now it worked out for me financially and such but not everyone is that lucky. I would like all of you to experience the hell that is married life so I'm assigning you each to a partner and you both will draw a paper from each of these tree hats which will decide your career path, house type and number of children. I expect all of you to spend at least seventy percent of the day with your partner and this will count for... a lot of your grade like a ton. If you pass then you could literally do nothing but nap and snack the rest of the year but your presentation better include..." He paused and reached into his front pocket to get glitter to throw at the students in the front row, "Sparkle! I want to be dazzled! So who wants to know their partner first?"

"Oh, me! Me!"
Morgan raised her hand up high in the air and waved it around, standing up straight in her chair, an excited smile sprawled across her face and her eyes lit up. English class was one of her favorite periods... although, a lot of her classes were her favorites. Morgan just liked school, most of her teachers were pretty awesome -- the only class she didn't enjoy as much really was Anatomy, but only because Crystal kind of frightened her with her touchy-feelyness and such. Not that Morgan didn't appreciate it, it was just a little much.
She sat next to Skylar and smiled over at him, silently hoping maybe they'd get paired? Not because she wanted to marry and have children with him! Despite that being the project they were getting assigned, but simply because he was fun to hang out with and it was always nice to have a legitimate reason to spend more time with the guy. Who cared what the burn blog said about them? Morgan certainly didn't. Those people could think what they wanted, though it did hurt that anyone out there thought somewhere in Morgan's deep little heart that she never loved Gavin. Who could think that? The girl obviously couldn't just go through his passing alone and Skylar was there. It may not have looked good that the girl was developing a teeny crush on him along the way, but... Morgan couldn't be expected to dwell on Gavin forever, could she?
It was time to move on.

Well the glitter wan't unexpected, this had to be one of the weirdest teacher' yet coolest he'd ever had. He really liked english class because they never had to learn anything really, and it was an excuse to do whatever he wanted, and hey he had it with one his his best friends, Morgan. She was really amazing, and he didn't want to feel things for her, especially after his friend, and the guy she had been dating had died, so he had to push away those nagging feelings, because though being there for her he might had developed a tiny crush on her. He might have wanted to get paired with her and spend more time with her, but it wasn't like he wouldn't be able to work with someone else, well unless it was a guy, because he didn't need people thinking that he was gay. He didn't know what was up with the burn blog, but they apparently thought he was gay, and it didn't help that some people did too, it was easy to say not to care about them but it kind of hurt to have them texting him and telling him to die, and sending him picutres of knives, those looked really scary. He didn't know what to do about that though, and ignored it. Hoping that they wern't plotting his murder, because that wouldn't be good. Now his head was full of thoughts of murdering him, and he kept seeing the picture in his head. Why would someone send that to people? It really scared him, the thought of death, and made him miss Gavin more, maybe he needed to back off some, but it was hard. He didn't raise his hand when the teacher asked because he was not enthusiastic to get paired with someone, anymore. Even it it was someone as gorgeous as Morgan. www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=91104705

James' bedazzling gesture made Alan jump on his seat when he saw the glitter fly around the room. He sighed before looking to Aubrey who was smiling brightly, ear to ear when he caught the teacher's joke. It confused Alan so much how this guy could have a smile on his face despite that he had a four year old daughter. Now, he was sure that children were great but didn't that take away his fun? Guess not. Was marriage that bad? Well, he had to be honest that James' wife did not sound at all appealing but everyone chose their own poison and he was somewhat amused that he got what he deserved. He leaned forward and rested his elbows on top of his desk, shifting his eyes around the classroom as he saw the rather bubbly girl stand up and volunteer herself to be paired up. At least there were two people excited for this.
"I'm not married but I'm sure I know what it's like to be living with someone." Aubrey told Alan quietly. He was happy, and it showed. Well, the seventeen year old was generally a glad person. Much like the plastic bag. Don't get mad, get glad. And that was exactly what Aubrey did. Alan nodded with a smile before glancing down to the pink, rhinestoned ring on the male's finger. He widened his eyes and then took his hand and quickly looked up at him, "Don't tell me you're engaged?!" Alan whispered sharply before tilting his head and then pulling the ring off of Aubrey's finger to further analyze it.
A smile came across Aubrey's face, "Caroline asked me if I wanted to marry her. She proposed to me and isn't it the other way around?" he asked him. What did Alan know? He was only like, twelve compared to Aubrey who already had the responsibilities of a guy in his mid-twenties yet the attitude of a five year old girl. "Congratulations. No, I think the guy is supposed to ask the girl for their hand in marriage but look at you," he punched his shoulder and said, "You must be quite special." he didn't mean to use that word and it seemed to have offended Aubrey. The bright blue eyed male gasped as he took his ring back, "Dad said that when I got the answer to a math problem wrong..."
"I didn't mean, special as in mentally disabled, Aubrey. I meant special as in you're a great guy, special." Alan explained, raising both eyebrows as if asking him capiche. "Oh, thank you! You're a great guy too Alan!" he said, nodding.

Jude did not particularly like this class, but maybe that was because he wasn't good at talking to people, well he didn't like any class really because he sucked at all of them, but maybe it was the fact that this class didn't seem to be treated like a real class made him hate it, sure there was no homework and they could do whatever they wanted, and there was glitter, but he didn't find it all that entertaining and could usually be found sleeping. Which was not a bad thing since the teacher didn't seem to care. He tried to fix his hair without a mirror while the teacher was talking, and ended up just putting his beanie back on. Some teacher had told him not to wear hats in school or something, and he never really understood that, so he didn't listen. His hair was a mess usually it was all spiky in the back, but he woke up late and ended up just putting a hat on because he didn't feel like fixing it. Even though the hairspray called his name, and made him want to light things on fire every time, his siblings were rushing him so that they wern't late because of his stupid hair. His sister was always complaining that he spent more time on his then she did on hers, and maybe it was true. When the teacher mentioned marrige, he chuckled. He wondered who he would have to get married to. He was sitting in the back of the class next to his friend Amelia, so he raised his hand when asked who wanted to be paired first. This was exciting, it was fun and why not be happy about it? www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=91104184

Oh Cupcake was so damn adorable! James smiled as she volunteered to learn of her partner first. He probably shouldn't have favorite students but he just couldn't deny that Blue Ivy (Aubrey) and Cupcake (Morgan) were just the cutest little things to ever walk through that door. He hoped and prayed every night that Monica and Henry would be like them at their age and not sex crazed like most of the other students. "Cupcake! Deary me... Okay, I am going to be nice on this one and pair you up with a friend so Skylar! Please come over here and take these three strips of paper which will tell you your careers, number of children and type of house." His heart was literally skipping a beat at the thought of this project bringing the two of them closer together in a more romantic manner. He felt a little guilty because of Bald Eagle but he figured that there would always be a place for him in Morgan's heart especially since he seemed to be her first love and he'd probably want her to be incredibly happy even if that meant having her move on to someone else. He was even showing his approval of his new ship by making sure they got nice jobs, a mansion and three children so three pieces of candy.
It was like how hardcore that he'd shipped Dallas and Kat but now was slowly allowing himself to get over the fact that they'd broken up. He was finally seeing his favorite student in a different light! He'd ended up tied to someone for life at eighteen and now that wouldn't happen to him unless he was stupid enough to really be dating that blonde heifer he'd stopped him walking with around campus. Why did such attractive people always go for such average girls? Esme had been banging.. Pre-pregnancy, of course and Kat? She was the first attractive pregnant woman that he'd ever seen. Shouldn't standards go up not done? He'd upgraded from Es to Kat but Kat to Godzilla was like well from cupcakes to a muffin. Pointless. "The next pairing is going to be..." He heard Jude say that he wanted to be next and smiled so widely that you'd think that he just won a prize. "Amelia!" He clapped like a gay seal before throwing more glitter in the air to celebrate the next pairing.

[ www.polyvore.com/class1/set?id=91104365 ] Sometimes Kazzie really questioned why she was in this class. Granted, every time she stepped out of the room she felt like her IQ had dropped, but the teacher was really cool. She didn’t really have to do anything at all to pass. She hadn’t been feeling well the past couple of weeks and she thought she might be coming down with the flu. She’d been drinking lots of fluids and taking a bunch of stupid vitamin pills. Were they even helping? She didn’t even know, let alone care. If she didn’t start to feel better than she was just going to go to the doctors. Surely they could tell her why she’d been feeling under the weather. Kazzie’s attention snapped back to the class room as she noticed glitter on her desk… the fuck? She looked about to make sure the class hadn’t suddenly turned into some weird strip show rendition of high school musical. Luckily for her, everyone was clothed. There was going to be an assignment. Just dandy. The last time they were put in pairs was for the dreaded baby assignment. Kazzie had basically taken over and the child survived earning the two girls A’s. Not only that, but Lulu had somehow managed to create the biggest baby wardrobe out of everyone. Having an electronic baby had made her think about kids. She really enjoyed them, and she loved spending time with Cici. Her favorite kind of date with Anthony is when they both watched over Cici. Movie night was way better when Cici was fast asleep on either Anthony or herself to a classic Disney Movie. So maybe she didn’t want kids right then and there, and she wasn’t sure she was even ready. But it didn’t hurt to just linger on the idea of little kids running around.

[ www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=91104895 ] Chloe was starting to feel like she fit in a little more every day. She was also getting skinnier every day. She had reassured Max that she was fine and that dieting was completely fine, which it was. Skipping a couple meals wasn’t so bad. This was being healthy, right? Augustus hadn’t said anything yet, so she assumed there was no real problem. If he said something then she’d be concerned. She wondered about her brother though and hadn’t really had a good sit down conversation. That needed to change soon, she missed their little talks. She absolutely adored this English class. Mr. Gregory was a hilarious teacher and he was always nice to her. He always managed to make her smile and feel like a person, not just another student. Sure his teaching methods were completely unorthodox, but he made it work. They were back to doing partner assignments and she was worried. Last time, Charles had a phobia a small children and the task of taking care of twins had fallen to Chloe. While she adored kids, it didn’t stop her from bawling her eyes out one night when she couldn’t make them stop crying. It was an ugly mess that made her feel slightly pathetic. She was optimistic though since no babies would be included. It couldn’t be all that bad just having to spend time with one person? She liked company, and as long as she didn’t get someone mean then what did it matter? Chloe laughed slightly as glitter was thrown into the air and landed on her desk. It was things like this that made her enjoy the class and kept her attention. She waited patiently for him to assign her a partner.

Colette was a naturally sweet person but even she rolled her eyes as James rambled on and on about how terrible that marriage was. She believed in fairy tales and happily ever after and she couldn't help but feel like this lesson was just going to turn the world into an even more cruel cynical place. Nobody believed in love anymore! It was all about getting to the top and having more money than someone else or a higher position of power. She didn't understand why everything was so dog eat dog! Didn't anyone want to think of the positive aspects of marriage? She casually slipped from her seat and moved to the little table that Alan and Aubrey were sitting at. "Hey guys.. What do y'all think of this assignment? Like I think that it's insane." She mentioned with a small sigh before looking up at their teacher who was doing some other insane thing. She was just really hoping that she ended up partnered up with Alan for this assignment since they'd had such a fun time (or at least she had a good time) during their last project together.
"I understand the concept and everything and I think it sounds fun but I wish that he would try and see marriage as a happy good thing too despite the fact that his marriage is clearly not working out." She didn't want to end up like him ever. She wanted to always see the good in the world, the small wonders like the smell of flowers or the way that something as simple as an ant could carry so much weight. She was amazed by those tiny things and it was probably not a good thing for her optimism to be so high. She wasn't nearly as bright sunshine, glitter sparkles as someone like say Aubrey Sawyer or Morgan Sawyer. Were they related? She'd never heard anything about it so she assumed not but it'd be kind of cool if they were. She pursed her lips before slowly reaching into her purse to grab her compact and her pink EOS lip balm to apply another coat onto her lips while James was distracted. He didn't exactly have a rule against putting lip products on during class but he would take her compact to stare at himself.
[/span]She'd saw it happen to several other students in the past and sure they each eventually got them back but it was just easier to never lose it in the first place. She didn't want to have to go to all of the trouble of filling out that damn shipping survey just to get her compact back! "Aubrey, are you and Caroline really engaged?" The ring on his hand looked a little suspicious but she didn't know why Caroline wouldn't have told her! They were friends after all! "If so then congratulations!"[/font]

www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=91183046‘Glitter?! Yes, please!’Amelia really liked Mr. James’s class. She almost liked it more than anatomy. Almost. They never did any actual work, so she was passing this class, too! (Really, she was passing every class since the teachers pitied her and gave her a passing grade.) While she liked the idea of ‘marriage’ as an assignment, she didn’t really like James’s view! She believed that marriage was a beautiful thing, like, most of the time! If you found the right person, marriage was awesome! And nobody said you have to stay forever. Everybody makes mistakes, even in things as big as marriage! This wasn’t like the olden days where you had to stone people who got divorced! It was a-okay to not want to be with somebody forever. She didn’t see why people didn’t understand that! Amelia was going to raise her hand when James called, but she was cut short by other people with faster reflexes. She was excited when she got Jude, though. She could handle spending 70% of her time with him. What she was really worried about was her job and kids and house. She didn’t want to be a plumber living in a shack with twenty kids! She wanted to be a baker living in a shack with twenty kids. She hopped out of her seat and stood in front of Jude’s seat, grinning. “I’m excited!” she said exuberantly. “Do you want to go get our jobs and stuff?”
