"I do know," Rusty said, looking down again and cocking a brow as he thought about it. Like.. fuck. They were going to be parents. And they most certainly were, there was no doubt in that. He was not going to get rid of this child be it by abortion or putting it up for adoption. Rusty may have been held back a year in school, but he wasn't so immature as to not take responsibility for things that he caused. Plus, he wanted to have this child, now that he thought about it. Would it be nice if he didn't have to have it so young? Yes. But currently, this wasn't the case. So he'd have to make the best of it.
"Are you laughing?" Rusty turned to look at her again, a wide smile across his face where he suddenly looked so much happier. Seconds ago he'd looked like a caring, slightly concerned boyfriend. Now he was back to his goofy looking self and that felt good. "Don't laugh, this is serious!" he said, all through a fit of giggle as he playfully slapped Crysta's knee. "Shit, if we're taking it like this.... how's everyone else gonna take it. Have you told Matt and Tyler? I mean I kinda really figure you told Matt already he's practically your conjoined twin. I'm just uh.. just a little worried about the parents deal."
Truth be told, Rusty thought his parents might be okay with this. Not okay to the point where they'd see no problems in it... like they'd certainly be mad and disappointed for a moment. But he figured in the end, it might just turn out like Juno. His mom and dad might get a little upset, tell him they thought he knew better, but then be there to support him.
At least, he hoped.

'I'm trying to be serious, I swear', Crysta replied, running her hands down her face trying to make herself hold a neutral expression. A couple of deep breaths later she was able to stop laughing and regain some of her serious side, although there never was much of a serious side to Crysta to begin with.
'Yeah I told Matty, he brought me food, and he told Tyler, so yeah', Crysta replied, 'I'm so freaked out about telling my mom, not so much my dad 'cause he's kinda ... You know, soft on me or whatever, but my mom is going to go crazy', Crysta continued, flopping back on to her pillows and staring up at the ceiling with a pained expression.
'Can I just like, not tell them?', she asked, 'Do you think that would be okay?'.

Rusty let out a sigh and fell back to the bed like she did. "I mean... you can do whatever you want I guess. Its your body, y'know?" he tried to reason, but its not like he had any knowledge on this. "I think, in the long run, they'd be happier if you actually told them and it wasn't a surprise though?"
Thinking, Rusty bit his lower lip. How would he tell his parents? Should he be there when (if) she told hers? What would they name it? That made him smile.. names.
"I like the name Ellie," he said suddenly, putting his arms behind his head and smiling at the ceiling.

'Ellie', Crysta smiled, talking about names was a much nicer thing to think about than the whole 'telling her parents' deal.
'Ellie Ericson ... Ellie McConaughey?', Crysta shot a sideways glance at Rusty. This baby tied them together forever. Did this mean they were as good as married now?

Rusty couldn't help but smile when Crysta changed the baby's name to McConaughey. Rolling to his side, he propped his head up with his hand and bit his lower lip as he looked at her. "I love you, y'know?" he said softly in a bit of a cheesy tone before slightly tickling her side.
"What do you like for a boy? Like, what if its a boy?" Though he was asking for a boy's name, he was still caught up on the idea of Ellie McConaughey. McConaughey. He liked the idea of it truly being their baby. Them. Them as a couple, if not more. Them.. as a family. It made his heart flutter.

'I know, I love you too, a lot', Crysta replied, wrapping one arm around Rusty and pulling him closer so their noses were almost touching. Glancing down the bed Crysta smiled seeing how much further Rusty's feet were from hers, she was so short. That got her thinking, would their baby grown up to be tall, or short? What colour hair would it have? These questions peaked Crysta's excitement, now she couldn't wait to find these things out, no matter how daunting being a mom was, she wanted to meet her baby!
'I don't know, I like short names, or named that can be shortened you know. Like ... Matthew to Matt. I'm not gonna name my son after my brother though. Um, I don't know ... I like Ben, I guess. I don't know', she laughed, 'We have seven and a half months to figure something out I guess'.

"Oh no, times running out!" Rusty laughed as he threw his hands into the air when she said they had seven and a half months to figure it out. "We'll never pick! Let's just name it blanket, like Michael Jackson did."
"Y'know we keep avoiding it.. we really should tell, i dunno.. someone about this," he added a couple minutes later, starting to think about her parents now. He couldn't and didn't want to imagine what they might do if they were upset. What if they like.. banished her or something? Or disowned her? What if they stopped paying for her schooling, assuming they did that in the first place... what if.. what if... There were too many what if's and it made Rusty a little sad.

'Yeah, we'll call him Blanket', Crysta agreed.
When Rusty mentioned telling someone Crysta sat up quite abruptly, the thought of telling her parents actually made her feel so sick that she had to cover her mouth. Lately she'd been puking a lot but she was sure this had nothing to do with the baby. It was gross. Luckily she wasn't actually sick, but it was a close call.
'Oh fuck', she groaned, pulling her knees in to her chest and tucking her head between them, 'I don't want to tell them yet. I'll tell a doctor, that much I can deal with'.

Rusty was following Crysta the moment she shot up. "Oh oh oh I'm sorry," he said, one hand on her arm and the other rubbing her back lightly. "Sorry, sorry. I won't talk about that anymore," he added, kissing her cheek gently before smiling softly when she said she'd tell a doctor.
"Y'know what? If you don't want to, you don't have to tell anyone, okay?" he said, trying to sound like this was a good plan. Honestly, Rusty was the furthest from a man with a plan. He never knew what he was doing. But right now, Crysta looked like she needed some guidance in her life. So he'd do his best to give it to her. Even if he had no idea what he was doing.
