"I didn't put two and two together, but it all makes sense now," Roderick admitted, rubbing the back of his head. He never got around to getting that haircut he promised himself, especially after meeting Tamera and pretty much texting her nonstop. Of course they just talked about random things, like the news or the latest cat video. He found that he loved to talk to her because not only did she pay attention, but she had genuine interest and intelligent input as well.
He rose an eyebrow in surprise. "Only two? Two hundred?" Roderick teased. Although it was hard to believe that such a pretty girl had so few boyfriends, it was understandable. Coming from a male's point of view, he knew that sometimes it was intimidating to talk to good-looking girls. Luckily for him, she talked to him first. Of course, it was only a matter of time until the two became friends seeing as Roderick was nice to everyone.
After Sam disappeared into another room in the house, Roderick shrugged his shoulders innocently. "Are you sure he's not your half brother? Or maybe just step?" he asked with a grin. Even without two brothers to protect her, Rodie had no intentions of being anything but pleasant to Tamera. He wasn't going to try any funny business, at least not unless she asked him to.
"Oh, that's alright. I'll come with you," he offered, standing up behind her.

A giggle escaped Tamera although it sounded more of a chuckle. She shook her head, "Two million." she began walking toward the kitchen but suddenly stopped. Eugene was in there for sure. This hangout was beginning to be more like a video game with different bosses and stages. She turned to look to Roderick, "My other brother must be in there. He's the one that drove us around that day when we left the computer room." she explained, despite that he might have already known that. She was just bracing him for more questioning or suspicion.
As expected, Gene was eating ice cream and watching television. "Hey Gene, you remember Roderick... From last week, you gave him a ride to his house." she tried refreshing his memory. The older Richards sibling turned around and nodded, "Oh hey there, Roderick. Nice seeing you again." he smiled gently before looking to Tamera who had opened the refrigerator she then looked to Roderick, "Come over here and grab something!" she wasn't one to just pick out things for people, she'd rather let them choose. Gene was being more calm than expected but he probably had a lot on his mind. Tammy would just have to ask him what's wrong later on.
