Babe...? Had he just....? "Dylan, I want to be your----..." Isabel started but she stopped herself before she could say anything that she would potentially regret.. A whole summer basically of sex and one day of opening up to each other... Maybe, maybe they did need some sort of a title just so people wouldn't realize how twisted that their relationship was but deep down, she knew that it wasn't what she wanted. She may believe in this moment that she and Dylan were destined to be together but later, she knew that she was going to change her mind.
She knew logically that a relationship between she and Dylan would be a mess since they were only compatible sexually. "Um... Never mind.. It's not important." She was wrong. All that she could think about as she watched him eat his chicken finger was how wrong that she was about them.. Maybe they wouldn't be a stereotypical fairy tale romance but that didn't mean that they wouldn't be real. It'd be their own thing, wouldn't it? People wouldn't be able to see it but you'd just feel it.
The love between them would be undeniable but he wouldn't want that. He wouldn't want to commit to her at least for real so she wasn't going to risk ruining what they did have with her silly feelings.

Dylan should have seen that coming. Though he expected different from Isabel. She was supposed to be like the female version of him, where were these feelings coming from? It was clear what she'd been planning on saying, and he wasn't entirely sure how to react to that. He didn't want a relationship, as much as he wanted Isabel. Declan had always told him that falling in love was a good thing, but what would he know? He'd only ever "fallen" for one girl, and that girl clearly hadn't loved him. Dylan was fucking her himself the whole time.
He put his food down and looked at her. "Is..." he started slowly, not exactly sure what to say. "I like you. A lot. But I'm not a relationship guy. I don't do feelings. I don't know how. I'm sorry if this isn't enough for you. We can stop of you want..." Stopping their little non-relationship was the absolute last thing he wanted, but if it were better for her... Wait a second? Why was he even caring what she wanted? He always came first to himself — always! So why was he suddenly giving a shit about how she felt? He was actually sparing someone's feelings? He used to tell girls to leave girls as soon as he finished, but there was nothing in him that wanted to leave Isabel. Maybe it was just about the sex, but he wasn't really sure about that. He could probably get the same from some other girl somewhere. It was different with her, and he didn't know why.

I'm not a relationship guyIsabel shouldn't have been surprised by what he had said nor was she going to act as if it actually bothered her. "You think that I have feelings for you?" She hissed it a tad harsher than she had intended, "This is all about the sex, Dylan but maybe you're the one who can't handle this because we can stop if you need to." She didn't mean to be such a bitch to him but she didn't know how to handle this. She'd rejected tons of guys in the past, hell, she'd been rejected in the past and handled it better than this but something felt different now. "I have to pee." She didn't. She practically ran into her bathroom which was luckily only a short distance away and turned the sink on before sitting on the toilet. (with the lid closed, obviously) What was going on with her? She wasn't this type of girl and ... Dylan wasn't special. He was just a regular guy with issues who could make her scream, that didn't mean that they were meant to be! She wasn't going to stay in there long but she did wait until she had her feelings under control first. LOOK WHAT YOU DID, HAILEY If he saw her with teary eyes then she'd be done for so she put on some make up and decided to fake it like she'd never faked it before. "Sorry that took so long, Dylan.." She glanced at the clock and realized that it'd only been about five minutes so it wasn't too bad. "Sooo... " What was she suppose to say now?

Dylan had to resist the urge to follow her into the bathroom, because he had a very strong feeling that she wasn't actually peeing. He was just now learning about her but her body language was something he was very accustomed to. When she walked out of the bathroom finally, he just wanted to run up and hold her. She was clearly upset, and he wasn't sure what exactly he'd done to make her feel so bad. Or why he even cared. But he did. And right now, she was the last person he wanted sad.
"Is...?" He ignored her little attempt to act like it was normal. He got off of the bed and walked over to where she was standing. Without another word, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and held her for a moment. It was a good thing he'd put his shorts back on or this hug would be uncomfortably sexual. He rubbed her back, not even caring if this was the absolute opposite gesture of what he'd just said he felt. "Isabel...I know you said you didn't care, but..." but what? Clearly you do care? If that didn't make him sound like more of an egotistical asshole than he already was, he wasn't sure what was. "Is, if you...if you want a relationship, we can figure it out. I've never done that before, but if you think you need it..." what was he saying? There was no way this could turn out to be a good thing! He wasn't even sure he was capable of feelings, and now he was offering to be in a relationship with her? He just didn't want this to end...whatever it was or wasn't.

Isabel didn't want Dylan's pity but something about this didn't feel like pity. Maybe it was because she didn't want to think that this could mean so much to her and so little to him nor did she want to think that she could for one second be the one who was being played for a change. Wait.. What? They could try and work something out? Was this real life? Was Dylan Mc-Fuckable-Knight really standing in front of her telling her that they could be in a relationship? She didn't know what to say all of the sudden and this rarely happened to her.
She always had at least one thing to say but now... It was like she was physically unable to form words. Why was this all making her want to jump into his arms and squeal? "Dylan.. Are you serious?" She didn't want to find out that he was just kidding around with her. She leaned in close to him and pressed her lips against his in a tender kiss which was so much more affectionate than the ones that she usually gave him.
"I know that we both suck at relationships and there are reasons for you to not want to give this a try but I want to. I want to see if this can go somewhere because you're special and I'm special.. I know that I'm different to you because if I was any other girl than you would be gone. I've talked to girls that you had sex with and it's different with us. You have to feel it, right? It's like ... I feel like there's some magical thing here or maybe it's just sexual but I want to give us a chance." She didn't know what she was saying. She just knew that she wanted him to realize that a relationship was the best idea.
"I want to be your girlfriend, Dylan and I want you to be my boyfriend and nobody else's. I don't want to be the friend with benefits or the other woman or the best friend or whatever that we are now. I want it all. I want the kinky sex and cuddling and pigging out in front of each other and how comfortable that we are." Wow, she was really rambling at this point.

Dylan couldn't help but smile. That all sounded so...nice. Like it was exactly what he wanted too. To be someone's boyfriend. Not just anyone though. Had it been any other girl, he would have laughed in her face, called her a dumb bitch, and then told people how pathetic she was. But Isabel was not pathetic. She was the strongest person he'd ever met. She lost her best friend to suicide, her mother was dying from cancer, and she still somehow found a way to smile. It was crazy. You would think a normal person would be depressed as all hell, but she wasn't. Aside from being a bit upset right now, she was one of the all together happy people he knew.
"Well, then." He said, looking down at her with a smile. He took a deep breath, and decided he should probably do the gentlemanly thing and put it in question form. "Isabel," he moved a strand of hair from her face and cupped her chin in his right hand. "Will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" It felt so weird to say it. Did he really want to be someone's boyfriend? Well. It was too late now. He was in for something entirely new to him, and he was honestly a tad bit frightened.

"Yes!" Isabel squealed as she reached over to wrap her arms around his neck, "I want to be your girlfriend!" How in the world had this happened? How did she go from wanting a one night stand with him to wanting nothing more than to be his girlfriend? "I would.. I would love to!" She didn't know what else to say and she didn't want to stand there rambling like an idiot so she leaned in and gave him a small kiss on his lips before resting her head on his shoulder.
They were a couple.
She, Isabel Mason, had managed to somehow tame Dylan McKnight and she wanted the world to know. "You are so perfect, Dylan and I think that you don't see that. I don't think that you realize how incredibly special that you are and what kind of a man that you are because if you did then you would... I don't know, you'd be so happy because I see you as a strong handsome man who has managed to make me feel like a beautiful princess and not a slut who everyone hates." She pecked him on the forehead before leading him back to her bed and moving the take out boxes so they were stalked on her nightstand.
"Can we cuddle in bed?" Why would he say no to that? She was his unbelievably attractive girlfriend!

Dylan still felt weird about this whole thing, but what was the point in fighting it? They were now a couple, and he'd been the one to initiate it. Who in the hell was going to believe that? He didn't even believe it himself!
He gave her a small smile and climbed into bed next to her, "Cuddling...never thought that was something I'd be doing," he wrapped his arms around her and pulled the blankets up. "But it's alright with me." He looked over at the TV, which had now switched from Spongebob to Nick @ Nite, and they were now playing George Lopez. He'd always loved that show. He and Declan used to watch is all the time with their dad, before he got so busy. Still though, if the three of them were ever together, and this show were on, he knew they'd sit in the living room watching it. Thinking about that made him feel warm inside, and he snuggled closer to Isabel.
He didn't really pay much attention to the fact that she was still naked. He had his shorts on, keeping a good separation between them. He wasn't able to find his underwear, but that didn't really matter. Isabel didn't have a stitch on, but somehow he wasn't sitting here salivating. Maybe he was starting to be able to differentiate between her naked body in a sexual way, and just the fact that she was still beautiful without close as she was with them on.

Isabel actually loved this show so she didn't mind that they were laying snuggled up on her bed watching it. She reached for the plush throw blanket that she had folded on the foot of her bed and laid it carefully across their bodies to keep them warm. She felt like she was on top of the world right now and nothing could take her down. She and Dylan had finally defined their relationship for real and she was surprisingly enough not scared of the future. She knew that she was going to be able to remain faithful because she'd been doing it all summer basically and Dylan? Well, he was young but she knew that he could figure it out if he wanted to and if he didn't then he could always have a second chance.
Everyone deserves to make at least one mistake in a relationship and couples like Carol and Wyatt gave her hope that cheaters can eventually be forgiven. She didn't say this often but she really admired how Carol had managed to get back together with him despite everything and how she had even became friends with Esme afterwards. It was really strong and brave of her to have enough confidence to realize that she was perfect and it was Wyatt's mistake - not her's. "I never thought that we would be doing this, Dylan.. I didn't think that I would ever want this but you've made me realize that I can have feelings for someone other than just for sexual satisfaction."
Wow, was she really saying all of that? "I just ... I am so happy right now and I know that this could go horribly wrong but I have a good feeling despite our age difference." She felt like he needed a woman who would stick around since his mother had left him. "So... Do I need to get Declan's approval?" She was just teasing him, of course.

Dylan was busy thinking about how building a relationship on sex and not feelings and trust and shit was probably not a good basis. At least that's what Declan would say. Of course he'd support Dylan's quick decision to be official with Isabel, but he knew his brother would have his doubts. And then she pulled him out of his thoughts when she started going on about being happy that they had figured everything out. Their age difference didn't seem like a big deal to him. He actually thought it was sexy that she was older and more experienced. Like some kind of hot taboo. He enjoyed being the one learning for a change, and he was always surprised when he found himself not upset about her taking charge. He normally preferred it, unless he was feeling particularly adventurous like he had tonight.
He snorted a laugh when she mentioned needing his brother's approval. "Please, Declan's so wrapped up in his own relationship, he couldn't careless what I do." He realized that sounded kind of mean, so he backtracked a little. "He already likes you from what I've told him. Don't worry about him. Truth be told, he's probably going to be glad I've actually settled down for a change." He knew his brother had probably lost a bet now that he was officially in a relationship, but Declan would be glad for him. He'd be able to tell that Dylan was happy, even though he was scared out of his mind.
